Tetris Ultimate gets release date for Xbox One and PS4 (December 16)

Tetris Ultimate is almost ready to make its debut on PS4 and Xbox One. In fact, you only have to wait one more week. PS4 owners will be able to download the game on December 16 and the Xbox One version will follow on December 17. Take on 6 exciting modes with up to three other people. Tetris Ultimate Modes

• Marathon – Complete level 15 and rack up as many points as you can.
  Endless – Keep clearing lines until your stamina runs out.

  Battle – Go head-to-head to knock out your challengers.
  Battle Ultimate – Be the last person playing after using crazy power-ups! Go on the offensive with Carousel and make your opponent’s Matrix shift to the left after each move, or trigger Let It Rain and dump blocks down on top of them. Buzz Saw helps you advance by clearing away a number of your lines, especially useful when you’re in a spot of trouble.

Track your friends’ scores and even watch their in-game replays so you can study their moves. Tetris Ultimate even saves your play style so your friends can play against you even when you’re not there. During his introduction of King of Wushu, Mr. Sun revealed that an initial version of the game would be released for PS4 on January 11th of 2015, making it one of the first games to hit the budding Chinese PS4 market. In this version, players would be able to access four free beginner characters, as well as being able to unlock 9 masters representing unique schools. In addition, Mr. Sun announced 2 characters exclusive to the PS4 version, for a total of 15 martial artists to choose from. This exclusive aims to highlight the exciting opportunities ahead for the PS4 in China, with King of Wushu set to play a major role in the system’s growth strategy.

Risk Now Available On Xbox One, PS4

Ubisoft and Hasbro have announced that the latest video game adaptation of the classic strategy board game Risk is now available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (for real this time, in the case of the Xbox One). The game includes local and online multiplayer, an A.I. assistant, and more.
The game uses the 2010 ruleset, but players can tweak options to accommodate their favorite rules and win conditions from older versions of the game. If you're new to Risk, an in-game A.I. named Iris can provide suggested moves, an overview of the world, and gameplay tips.
Risk is currently available for download on current-gen consoles for $14.99. Ubisoft says that PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will be coming in early 2015.
