    Christ, if the Japanese made Mass Effect, let alone Square-Enix, there would barely be an adult in sight - in Japan orphaned kids save the world! Captain Anderson would have been a adolescent girl with a shy and retiring demeanour the female love interest would be a tsundere nut bag who beats up MaleShep in a comedy 'skit' kinda way, and the male love interest would be a brooding bastard with a big sword and probably gravity defying hair.
