Spider-Man: Edge of Time Announced!

MARVEL™ AND ACTIVISION® ANNOUNCE SPIDER-MAN™: EDGE OF TIME
High-Octane, Adrenaline-Fueled Adventure Tasks Players with Saving Spider-Man this Fall
Santa Monica, CA – March 31, 2011 –Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) and Marvel Entertainment (NYSE: MVL) today announced Spider-Man: Edge of Time, where Spider-Man faces one of his greatest challenges ever – saving Spider-Man. Developed by Activision-owned studio Beenox, Spider-Man: Edge of Time challenges the player to take on the roles of both classic Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 to correct a timestream gone awry and prevent a catastrophic future brought on by the early and untimely death of Peter Parker.

Spider-Man: Edge of Time is a focused, action-packed adventure set in two connected and evolving timelines, from the contemporary times of the Amazing Spider-Man to the corrupted future world of Spider-Man 2099, against the backdrop of a rich, tightly crafted narrative by acclaimed Marvel veteran Peter David (co-creator of the comic book series Spider-Man 2099).� The game features all-new “cause-and-effect” gameplay, where players will see how the immediate and sometimes unexpected effects of their actions as one Spider-Man changes the timeline of the other Spider-Man.� Spider-Man: Edge of Time is slated for release this fall.

Η Beenox σε συνεργασία με την Activision δημιουργούν ακόμα μία ιστορία με τον διάσημο "Αραχνάκια" μετά τις καλές εντυπώσεις που άφησε το Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions.

Επειδή ποτέ ένας Spider-Man δεν είναι αρκετός για την Beenox, και στο Edge of Time θα μπορούμε να χειριζόμαστε τον Amazing Spider-man και τον 2099. Το σενάριο υπογράφει ο Peter David (The incredible Hulk, Star Trek) όπου ο Amazing Spiderman και ο 2099 θα πρέπει να συνεργαστούν για να αποτρέψουν τον θάνατο του Peter Parker σε κάποια στιγμή στο μέλλον...

Το παιχνίδι θα κάνει την εμφάνιση του στο Wondercon 2011 αυτή τη βδομάδα, οπότε σίγουρα θα έχουμε κάποιο βίντεο για να δουμε.

Εγώ το shattered dimension το βρήκα καταπληκτικό. Μακάρι το edge of time να βρίσκεται στο ίδιο επίπεδο ποιότητας.

Καταπληκτικό δεν ηταν το Shattered dimensions, αλλα ήταν αρκετά καλό σε σχέση με αυτά που βλέπαμε τα τελευταία χρόνια...

Χμμμ δεν ειδα κάτι διαφορετικό απο άποψη μάχης, αλλα νομίζω θα έχουν ενδιαφέρον οι εναλλαγές μεταξύ των 2 κόσμων και τις επιπτώσεις των πράξεων και των 2 Spiderman.

Τα γραφικά δεν πρέπει να έχουν αλλάξει σε ποιότητα αλλα μόνο σε εμφάνιση. Καθώς δεν χρησιμοποιούν το ιδιαίτερο look των 2 universe οπως στο περασμένο παιχνιδι. Αναμένω με αγωνία!

Μα και αυτό official είναι! Spiderman 2099! Η αλήθεια ειναι οτι και γω θα ήθελα λίγο open world να είναι, αλλα απο ένα σημείο και μετά έχασαν την μπάλα. Οπότε ας αρχίσουν πάλι απο την αρχη οπως τα spiderman του PSX xD
