^^Οντως, δεν υπαρχει περιπτωση να φτασει εκει το κοστος.

Με λίγα λόγια μας λέει πως για την νέα γενιά η EA ισως να χρεώνει για τα παιχνίδια της όπως το Battlefield 4 και το FIFA14 εως και $80(!!!!)

Πάντως όντως έχω παρατηρήσει ανεβασμένες τιμές στο Zavvi και άλλα UK shops... ίσως επειδή έχει υποτιμηθεί η λίρα να τα ανεβάζουν λόγω πληθωρισμού και αυτό σίγουρα θα περιορίσει δραστικά τα UK imports.

Στην Αμερική πάντως δεν παίζει να ξεπεράσουν τα $60.

Τώρα που αρχίσαμε να τα χώνουμε και είδαμε ότι και οι εταιρείες "ακούν" δεν με προβληματίζει ιδιαίτερα το θέμα. Μαύρο και άκυρο σε όποια εταιρεία μας κουνιέται και νομίζει ότι μας κρατάει από τα balls. Μόνο το BF4 ίσως με πειράζει που βγάζει η ΕΑ και όλα τα άλλα σκασίλα μου, μπορούν απλά να περιμένουν. Πάντως βλέπω ακόμη τιμές περί τα 60€ πλην μερικών first/third party εξαιρέσεων (COD/Destiny/KZ:SF/InFamous:SS).

Το Witness δε θα βγει καν στο launch, ενώ δεν υπάρχει σε κανένα δελτίο αναφορά για retail έκδοση. Ως ήθισται, το public ανεβάζει ό,τι του κατέβει στο κεφάλι.

edit: είδα ότι το έχουν και οι άλλοι. Δεν ξέρω τι παίζει, πάντως ισχύει πως δεν υπάρχει πουθενά ένδειξη για retail έκδοση. Μάλλον η sony hellas κάνει τα δικά της.

Αν περισσεύουν, θα τα πάρουμε κάνα 50ρικο, άντε 55€ το πολύ day1 από τους γνωστούς εγχώριους φίλους του πορτοφολιού μας, αλλιώς από το εξωτερικό, αλλιώς θα περιμένουμε το λογικό price drop μετά το τρίμηνο, εξάμηνο.

Dave Cox: Lords of Shadow 2 is 'the last one for us'
Next Castlevania will have to come from new team

Speaking with producer Dave Cox at San Diego Comic Con about Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, we found ourselves surprised by the candid response we received when we asked about the future of the franchise:

"I’ve always thought that this was a torch being passed down," David told us. "Nobody on the team ever felt like we owned Castlevania. We always felt it was our responsibility now but it wouldn't be ours forever. Let’s do what we’re going to do, tell our story, and move on.

"So we’ve told Japan headquarters that this is the last one for us... there’s nothing worse than when somebody’s got something to say, and when they’ve said it, they just keep talking. We’ve got a beginning and end, and it’s a cool ending and a cool story. Once we’ve done that, it’s time to say to somebody else, 'now it’s your turn.' Maybe it will be a young producer in the company looking for his first break. I think you’ve got to bring in fresh blood."

I'd have guessed the team would committed to a trilogy, and given the success of Lords of Shadow, I'm even more at a loss. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this iconic franchise.

Konami teases new Castlevania game

Producer Dave Cox references "the next one" in discussing Lords of Shadow 2, confirms Mercury Steam will not develop it.

Castlevania producer Dave Cox has teased a new entry in the Lords of Shadow series and revealed that whatever this game turns out to be, Mercury Steam will not develop it.

Speaking during a Comic-Con roundtable interview, Cox said Konami has learned a great many lessons as it relates to performance capture for the series and suggested these lessons could be applied to an all-new game.

"We have to really plan differently and do things differently. And we've made mistakes on this one, as well, which we're going to hopefully improve for the next one [Emphasis added]," Cox said. "I think it's a learning process and I think game developers are learning every day how to do things better."

Cox also confirmed in the interview that Spanish developer Mercury Steam is moving away from the Lords of Shadow series because it has nothing left to say in the universe.

"I think if you've got something to say, you should just say it, and when you're done, just shut up," Cox said. "And we've got something to say. And once it's out there…I think it's time for somebody else; somebody younger, a younger producer to come in and take up the mantle and do what they think would be right for Castlevania and for us to move on to something else."

"I think Castlevania is a series that has evolved over the 26 years to what it is today and I think it's in good shape right now and I think people will really enjoy the last one," he added. "There's a lot of surprises and I think we're going to deliver something unexpected."

In June, Cox said Mercury Steam has "next-gen in mind for our next project," but would not say more. Though Cox wouldn't go into more detail about this next game, last year he teased that Mercury Steam has a couple of "really cool ideas" in the works, adding that "it's no secret that I'm a big fan of Contra and I'd like to do something in that universe."

While Sony and Microsoft have to date remained relatively tight-lipped on the launch dates of their respective consoles, retail giant Toys R Us has claimed that the Xbox One will land before the PS4. Listing the Xbox One release date as November 29, the retailer has pegged the PS4 release date as December 13, less than two weeks before Christmas.

Σύμφωνα με το vgchartz η κονσόλα της Nintendo το Wii έσπασε την κατοστάρα (100 εκατομμύρια κονσόλες) και πλέον κυνηγάει στην επόμενη θέση το πρώτο PS που βρίσκεται στα 104.25m κονσόλες.
