TGS07: Square Enix announces Kingdom Hearts: Birth of Sleep


Square Enix has unveiled a trio of new Kingdom Hearts titles for gaming on-the-go. Though none of them are Kingdom Hearts III, the PSP title Birth of Sleep appears to be a single-player adventure similar in style to KH2. According to 1UP, the main character looks eerily similar to Zack from Final Fantasy VII and Crisis Core: FFVII.

No release date was given for Birth of Sleep. Square Enix also announced KH: 358/2 Days for DS and KH: Coded for mobile phones.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep still looks good in new scan



Birth by Sleep, the upcoming PSP-exclusive prequel to Kingdom Hearts looks incredible. The game features PS2-quality graphics, as seen in a new scan from Famitsu. Of all the recently revealed Kingdom Hearts games, this looks to play most like the original. We even see Donald and Goofy in these images. How will they integrate into this new game? New details on Birth by Sleep will be hard to come by, but if we find anything more, you'll be sure to find it here.

Kingdom Hearts battle system gets Fatal Mode





Birth by Sleep looks good. And, new details and screenshots from Famitsu make it even better. The article highlights two new features of the new PSP Kingdom Hearts game's battle mode: the Command meter and Fatal Mode. Players are encouraged to battle furiously, as each attack they execute will fill the Command meter. Once the Command meter fills, players will be able to launch a special attack (which can supposedly be custom mapped).

Terra (the guy that looks a bit too much like Zack from Crisis Core) also has an extra mode: Fatal Mode, which unsurprisingly delivers one-hit kills to enemies. Make sure you check out the screenshots by visiting Famitsu.

Kingdom Hearts and Dissidia playable at Square Enix party



Finally! It seems like we're inching ever closer to the releases of Dissidia and Kingdom Hearts on PSP. Dissidia has been playable before, so we're excited to hear that Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is in a state where it can be played as well. Unlike the other Kingdom Hearts spin-off titles, Birth by Sleep looks to most closely resemble the PS2 games -- not just graphically, but in terms of gameplay as well. For many, that's exactly what they're looking for.

Invitations to this closed party are incredibly limited, so we're hoping that someone will be fortunate enough to attend the show and report on how both of these games play.

- Birth By Sleep: Ο Master Xeanort ενδιαφερετε για το "Mind of light".

Desperate nice find! Πραγματικα σκεφτομαι να το αγορασω στα ιαπωνικα γιατι δεν θα αντεξω μεχρι να το μεταφρασουν (ναι ειμαι μεγαλος φαν της σειρας:wave! Οριστε κ μερικες εικονες απο αυτες που ποσταρε ο Desperate σε καλυτερη μορφη






Τελικα δεν εκανα ασχημα που αποφασησα να αγορασω PSP...Αν κ το ειχα αποφασησει μονο κ μονο για να παιξω αυτο το παιχνιδι!!!

Birth by Sleep

Plot
- Master Xehanort is not only looking for the Pure minds of the princesses but shows an interest in obtaining the worlds as well.
- The scenes of Aqua, Terra and Ven together were all from the beginning of the game. After this they all seperate. The purpose of the three heroes are all slightly different but the goal of chasing Master Xehanort is the same.
- In this era of Kingdom Hearts the Keyblades are taught to be more about spirit of the person instead of the heart.
- The only reason why Snow white sounds slightly strange is due to them having the most appropriate voice for her role. Considering the movie Snow white was released 50 years ago in Japan.

Gameplay
- Nomura wanted to make strategic changes to the combat system, and believes BBS' gameplay has changed a lot from it's first showing which was pre-arranged commands.
- Thoe shot lock system was also thought up with BBS, however they wern't sure if it was possible at first.
- The meaning of unbirth is the exact opposite of birth in terms that they are the exact opposite of people. The kind of people they are and how they are created will be shown to the public soon.
- Birth by Sleep is more high-speed action then the other games and also will be showing reaction commands. Anyone who plays this for the first time will be surprised.
- There are a lot of boss battles in this game, however they are all to feel unique and fun.
- There was a lot of testing with the music, and now finishing the music has become the battle. *Laughs*

358/2 Days
- Having the voice of the 14th member released to the public at this time was Nomura's own mistake. However the voice should give off hints.
- Roxas doesn't have as much of a positive impact on the heroes as Sora does in the games. An example being Beauty and the Beast scene, the message this area will cause the players to think. "What is love?" Roxas will also begin to learn through the disney characters where his doubt for the Organization begins.
- When Axel talks to Xion at the end of the trailer, what Nomura is really referring to is Axel and Roxas.
- The original thought of the Kingdom Heart series has to do with "Where the mind draws" so Memories is a huge part of the series. This game will heavily focus on Memories because of the Nobodies.

KH Coded
- Events do not happen like in Kingdom Hearts games where it's at the beginning, scenes in the middle and then scenes in the end. The scenes in Coded only happen after completing a certain ammount of missions.
- Coded being the only sequel to Kingdom Hearts 2 it's expected to show content for the next game, however it's really in the context of Chain of Memories and will also be solving up the mysteries of previous Kingdom Hearts games.
- This story is meant to "Heal their pains" and follows along side another secret message.
- As you advance in the game you'll begin to learn who left that message in Jiminy's memo and why the message was left.
- Coded, 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep in some way or fashion are connected to each other in various ways.
- There are more elements to the cellphone with Kingdom Hearts then they have shown right now.

- Η ημερομηνια απο Χριστουγεννα 2008 εγινε Φεβρουαριος 2009
- Το πρόσωπο του 14ου μελους της Οργανωσης 13 αποκαλυφθηκε.
- Η Xion (ετσι οπως λεγετε) αποκαλυφθηκε επισης και μεσα απο τα τρεϊλερ.
- Εγινε γνωστο οτι ειναι ενα nobody οπως ο Roxas που δημιουργιθηκε απο μια "special birth."

- Εμφανιστηκε επιτελους gameplay με την Aqua!
- Η Aqua οπως φαινεται αιωρητε οταν χρησιμοποιει το keyblade χωρις να το αγγιζει. Το συγκρινουν με μια μορφή του Sora (Final Form)
- Εδειξαν σκηνες με την Aqua στο κοσμο της Σταχτοπούτας και της Χιονάτης.
