Metal Gear Online add-on this week

Konami plans to expand Metal Gear Online this Thursday by adding its first Online Gene Expansion pack.

This costs EUR 9.99 and adds a trio of maps, a Survival mode, the Reward shop, more heroes plus the ability to create female characters.
The maps are Coppertown Conflict, which has wide open streets to stalk around; Tomb of Tubes with its labyrinth of underground passages; and Virtuous Vista, a big outdoor area for long-range assaults.

Survival mode has you battling through increasingly tricky stages to earn points you can spend on new gear in the Reward shop. Meryl and Johnny from the single-player campaign are the added heroes.

"The new update represents terrific value for money, and will be followed by additional add-ons in the coming months designed to keep Metal Gear Online fans enthralled with the new possibilities they will bring," said Christopher Heck from Konami.

You can now see traps set by teammates through SOP.

Additional new Skill:
2 kinds of skill have been added.
"Box Move" accelerates movement speed when you are hiding in a box.
"Quick Recovery" the speed of recovery when helping a teammate has been increased.

Change of weapon specification
Custom parts of M870 Datsite, Scope has been added
The number of bullets of the P90 has been changed from 300 to 250.
The range of hand gun's AUTO AIM has been changed from 15M to 10M.
The range of Assalt Rifle's AUTO AIM has been changed from 5M to 7M.
Adjusted the specs of Shotgun's AUTO AIM
Changed MK17 3000DP to 2500DP.
Changed XM8'DP from 4000DP to 3500DP.
Changed G3A3's DP from 4000DP to 5000DP.
Changed M14 EBR's DP from 750DP to 3000DP.
Changed M870 from 1000DP to 750DP.
Changed SLUG bullet from 5000DP to 2000DP.
Changed V.RING bullet from 3000DP to 2000DP.
Changed E.LOCATER from 750DP to1500DP.

Metal Gear Online Update 1.11 Available

The update is available by starting Metal Gear Online, at which time you will be prompted to download and install the update.

Τελικά το online του mgs τί λέει;Έχει κόσμο ή προβλήματα;

Είναι πολύ καλό online shooter με αυτούσια τα controls του MGS4. Τις τελευταίες εβδομάδες μάλιστα έχει αυξηθεί πολύ ο αριθμός παικτών οπότε και υπάρχουν πολλές clans (και ελληνικές) για να κάνεις join ενώ τα matches ξεκινούν γρήγορα. Δοκίμασε το!

Υ.Γ. Πρόσφατα το MGO είχε ορισμένα προβλήματα με τους servers λόγω της κυκλοφορίας του νέου pack χαρτών όμως τωρα όλα δουλεύουν ok. Μάλιστα προσέθεσαν και ένα καινουργιο πολύ καλό mode, το survival, το οποίο δουλεύει πολύ καλά και είναι ιδιαίτερα εθιστικό.

Δεν ξέρω ακριβώς αλλά το 1.10 είναι αρκετά μεγάλο ενώ το 1.11 πολύ μικρό.

Following the release of the MEME expansion, the patch for v1.20 for Metal Gear Online is out. There's a truckload of changes and additions, including new skills, new BGMs, and many other tweaks here and there. Here's the long list:

All alterations

* New skills
* Change of skill specs
* New rules for Interval and Stealth Deathmatch
* New BGMs
* Weapon specs changes
* New weapon explanations
* New functions "Skill Set" and "Gear Set"
* Briefing screen changed
* The game screen changed

Lobby

* The icon was added to the lobby name in "Lobby Select" menu.
* The time which can enter the survival lobby was restricted.
* Automatching lobby was divided.
* Survival lobby was divided.
* The headshots invalid lobby was added.


Ranking

* The figure of the displayed ranking was increased.
* The quantity of the ranking which moves by the left button or the right button was changed.
* When viewing personal details, the page of a corresponding rule will be opened by the default.

* The total number of the Teams currently in battle is added to the Survival match List.
* "Clan Members Only" is added to the stance of "Creat Team".

* The icon of "Friendly Fire" and "Voice Chat" and "Lock on" were added to "COMMON SETTINGS" of Free Battle and Survival.
* The camera was added to the equipment of Mk.II.
* The function which turns OFF a text chat was added to the "MUTE" menu of "BRIEFING"
* When one of the team disappeared from the Free Battle, the game becomes invalid match.

* New Maps: Forest Firefight (FF), Silo Sunset (SS), Winter Warehouse (WW)
* New unique characters: Liquid Ocelot and Mei Ling
* New game mode "Tournament"
