Exclusive Look at Sony's new project!

It was said by many that Sony is not going to pull it off in the next couple years, but I can tell you that Sony is doing the opposite! Right now, Sony is under development of there highly anticipated "Home" User Community were users create there Avatars and then roam the many different areas within Home.

First let me point out that this is all done in "Home Beta 1.6" and Sony is continuing there updates to Home for more content and also with much feed-back from users through the beta. Users start out with there own "Home Space" where they design the inside of a pre-made house. The customization within these houses are endless as you can take 50 different objects and place them ANYWHERE in your house. Make a tower of chairs or a movie theater type seating arrangement. Anything you want can be done here!

Next, Users can go to one of many other locations via a portal or there "Home PSP's". These locations include the Game Lounge, Central Lounge, or the Theater Lounge. These locations offer many different things to do in them such as in the Game Lounge you can play pool, bowling, and five different arcade games, but more is expect in the next updates to follow. The next spot in the Home journey is the Central Lounge where users can just go and chat and offers a lot of seats. The last location is the Theater Lounge where users go to watch trailers and movies and game previews that are soon to come out and they can watch in a theater or on a preview screen in the halls.

Much is to be added later in these different lounges but as of now, the beta is working out many of the glitches for the main game. I have had to reset the PS3 several times when relocating to a new lounge or when playing pool but that is expected in betas. Aside from the few bugs, Home offers great things and much more is expected in the coming months to the first public launch.

Now here were some thing that I had a great time doing in Home, one BIG thing that makes this game fun is that the characters are completely customizable making the Nintendo Mii's look like child's play to almost seeing an exact you once your customization is done. Another great thing is that the Chat features are amazingly easy to use and it isn't restricted to just one option. You can use your PS3's keyboard, Home's own keyboard, or your own bluetooth/usb keyboard, then there is the headset option as well. The chat is super easy and offers many options for anyone's own use.
As Home offers a lot of great things, another great thing is the PSP Options window. To navigate it is as easy as the PSP itself, simply press <Start> and you can relocate, read the news, change the chat options, view your messages, and much much more!
Many key features that make Home integrate into the PS3 System itself is that you can add friends and chat to your friends on your friends list with a simple click of a few buttons within Home. Then you are able to invite friends to your own Home Space and have a great time chatting and dancing in your House!

Και εγω αυτο λεω ρε γαμοτο... ποτε θα βγει. Δεν βγαινουν και να πουν κατι. Λετε να εχει καποια συνδρομη αυτο το home;
Παντος και να εχει θα πληρωσουμε. Anyway...

Αυτο που θα ηταν ωραιο ειναι να βγαλουν καμια καμεριτσα και να μπορουμε αν βαλουμε την φατσα μας μεσα στο home ετσι ωστε ο καθε χαρακτηρας να μην ειναι ομοιος η ιδιος με καποιον αλλων...

Home: New Screens Show Big Changes
Sony sneaks into your Home and takes a couple more snaps.

With Brighton positively swimming under a bobbing sea of developers for this year's Develop conference in the UK, it's hard to keep track of all the information morsels whizzing around. For instance, during a workshop hosted by Sony's Home development team yesterday, a couple of new screens snuck out, alongside affirmation of some minor changes to the software.

Firstly, Home's main lobby area has been remodelled from previous versions, no longer trapping users in the claustrophobic confines of earlier lobby builds. Home Square - which you might have spotted in the latest video below - moves the lobby area outside, sporting some '50s US Main Street stylings - although, clearly, someone needs to swap the 'R' and 'E' around on that 'THEATRE' marquee, for authenticity's sake.

Elsewhere, the team confirmed your personal Home Space has also received a makeover, with a more curvaceous, less boxy living space now up for grabs. Sadly, that's all we could glean from the presentation but, rest assured, we'll have more Home news shortly.
