We already know Amazon is offering some exclusive skins for your avatar in Home if you pre-order Killzone 2 from the popular online retailer. Looks like Gamestop and Best Buy wants in on some of that pre-order action, too -- reserving your copy at Gamestop will grant you access to an exclusive demo of the game that begins on February 3rd while patronizing Best Buy will yield you an exclusive PS3 theme. Strangely, Best Buy's pre-order page makes no mention of the complimentary theme, but a promotional e-mail from Sony does.

Διαβάζοντας παντού πολύ καλά σχόλια και βλέποντας την ανυπομονησία όλων να βγει το Killzone 2, είδα και αρκετές φωτό, και το παιχνίδι φαίνεται πολύ καλό και μου έχει κινήσει την περιέργεια!
Η ερώτησή μου είναι η εξής:
Είδα ότι το Killzone βγήκε το 2004 για PS2. Δεν το έχω παίξει, δεν είχα κονσόλα ποτέ ξανά.. Το Killzone 2 θα μπορώ να το παίξω, ή θα έχω αρκετά κενά στην ιστορία?
Το παιχνίδι βέβαια αν δεν κάνω λάθος είναι FPS? Οπότε λογικά δεν θα χρειάζεται και πολύ backstory?
Οποιοδήποτε Info, δεκτό!

επισης οσο κι να εξηκειοθεις με το keyboard δεν εχεις την ιδια αμεσοτητα σε μαχαιρια χειροβομβιδες οπλα κινησεις εκτος απο το aiming.και μην μου πεις για mouse με 60 buttons και εγω τετοιο εχω!βαρεθηκα να βλεπω τους pc users να γκρινιαζουν για τα controlers!

GameStop will be giving out demo access to gamers who pre-order Killzone 2. Yep, kinda like what Amazon is doing for Resistance: Retribution

Those who pre-order online will be getting their codes emailed to them, while those who actually go to GameStop starting January 5 will get a rave card that'll give them access to the Killzone 2 demo. Here's the GameStop announcement verbatim:

Reserve Killzone 2 and receive exclusive access to the Killzone 2 Demo. You must have access to Playstation Network in order to redeem promotion code. Available for online and in-store customers, while supplies last.


Online Customers / In-Store Pickup: Codes granting access to the Killzone 2 Demo will be sent via email starting on February 3rd.


Store Customers: A rave card granting access to the Killzone 2 Demo will be available in stores while supplies last beginning the week of January 5. Check with your local store for more information.

The rave card is on a "while supplies last" deal, so you better get a move on come January 5th. The demo will start on February 5. Killzone 2 is slated for a February 27 release in North America.

PlayStation Gamer Uk writes: "While this may not come as the biggest surprise in the world, Killzone 2 will be getting downloadable content. Looking at the network features on the back of the US boxart you can see that it clearly states "add-on content"."
