Killzone 2 demo exclusive to GameStop, public demo after game release

The only way you'll be able to play Killzone 2 before the game's release will be through GameStop's exclusive pre-order campaign. No other demo for Killzone 2 will be released before the game's street date. Those that don't want to pre-order from GameStop will have to wait until after the game's release, as we've discovered from SCEA. "The demo will be available on the PSN after the game ships but only through GameStop until then."

Seems a bit strange to reward people already ready to purchase the game with a demo, while excluding those that are on the fence. Having played the game, we can confidentally say that playing even just one level of Killzone 2 will make you a convert.

Good fortune for the folks across the Atlantic! While North America has to pre-order Killzone 2 just in order to get a demo before the actual game's release, Europe might actually get it for free on PSN.

Sony has confirmed that they will indeed release a K2 demo on the European PSN server, but they can't quite peg the actual schedule just yet. Another spokesperson reaffirmed this, telling Eurogamer that "if it clears QA in time, the demo will almost certainly be released in Europe before the game."

Meanwhile, for those in North America, if you don't want to pre-order Killzone 2 from GameStop (and bag their early demo code to boot), don't worry. The same demo will still be released in NA PSN servers, but only after launch.

Από ότι βλέπω είπαν να βάλουν λίγο περισσότερο χρωματάκι στην τελική έκδοση (εφόσον οι φωτογραφίες τραβήχτηκαν κάτω από τις ίδιες συνθήκες). Πραγματικά έχει πέσει τεράστιο polish στο παιχνίδι και είναι από τις λίγες φορές που ένα game δείχνει πραγματικά ολοκληρωμένο και έτοιμο να βγει στην αγορά. Βέβαια, έχω την αίσθηση ότι και άλλον έναν χρόνο να το καθυστερούσαν η Guerilla πάλι θα το βελτίωνε λόγω τελειομανίας.

παιδια μολις ειδα το βιντεακι...ΤΟ ΠΑΙΧΝΙΔΙ ΑΠΛΑ ΔΕΝ ΥΠΑΡΧΕΙ. Εχει αναβαθμιστει σε βαθμο που οι διαφορες απο το τρειλερ του 2005 ειναι πολλες. Η Sony ξεπερασε τον εαυτο της.
