The free update for PS3 users in North America was to be posted by the weekend.
Blu-ray Disc is the heir apparent to the crown of high-definition optical media formats. The format battled against HD DVD, which manufacturer Toshiba recently discontinued.
The updated firmware enables Blu-ray Disc Profile 2.0, or BD-Live, to be supported on the PS3. BD-Live enables Blu-ray Disc makers to incorporate additional interactive features including downloadable video content, ringtones, games and more.
The firmware also exposes "Portable Copy," which enables PS3 users to copy a standard-definition version of the Blu-ray movie to a PlayStation Portable (PSP). You can transfer music and photo playlists from the PS3 to the PSP and use the PSP as a remote control for music playback using "Remote Play." DivX and WMV playback functionality has been improved, along with new Internet browser settings and additional AV settings.
θα συμφωνησω με τον stratisd οσον αφορα το ingame XMB. ποσο θα πρεπει να περιμενουμε για αυτο το οποιο ειναι κατα την γνωμη μου απο τις πιο συμαντικες λειτουργιες που επρεπε να υπαρχουν απο την αρχη
Παιδιά νομίζω βγήκαν και είπαν επίσημα ότι κάπου στο καλοκαίρι θα το πάρουμε... Γιατί τέτοια αναστάτωση? Το ξέραμε ότι δε θα το πάρουμε τώρα το in-game XMB.

The musical spoof "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" and the Arnold Schwarzenegger sci-fi thriller "The 6th Day" will be the studio's first two BD-Live titles. Their release coincides with the launch of a new software update for Sony's PlayStation 3 that makes the game console the first Blu-ray player with Internet connectivity, an ability known as "Profile 2.0."

Whoa, what a surprise tonight huh? We've got some really dedicated readers here; in just a few seconds, our email inbox was flooded with tips about the new PS3 2.20 firmware going live. Indeed, it is. Go update your PS3 now.
In case you don't remember what was previously revealed about this new firmware, allow us to reiterate some of the highlights: DivX content can now exceed 2GB, and resume play enables PS3 to play a BD or DVD video at the point it was stopped, even if the disc had been removed. Most of all, it now adds Blu-ray Profile 2.0 support.

* Playlist that were created in Music and Photo can now be copied along with the content they contain to a PSP system. You can play the content on the PSP system in the order that was set on the PS3.
* BD Profile 2.0 is now supported. With BDs that support BD-Live, you can access Internet content for the BD.
* Resume play can now be used on a BD or DVD even if the PS3 system has been turned off or the disc has been ejected. However, there are some discs on which resume play cannot be used.
* DivX content that exceeds 2 GB can now be played. Also, subtitles can now be displayed for DivX content.

Μου δείχνει ότι υπάρχουν υπότιτλοι, τους βλέπει αλλά δε μου τους δείχνει στην ταινία... :confused:

Aπ ότι είδα δεν δουλεύουν τα .srt αρχεία... Δουλεύουν οι υπότιτλοι κάπως αλλά επειδή δεν είμαι και πολύ του αθλήματος με τα dvix αρχεία ας μας πει κάποιος που θα το κατεβάσει αργότερα τι παίζει... Πάντως υπότιτλους παίζει...δε δουλεύουν...

παντω λιγο που δοκιμασα το πρωι πριν φυγω για δουλεια,το ιντερνετ δειχνει κανονικα τα videos...

Δοκίμασες να βάλεις το ίδιο όνομα και στα 2 αρχεία? Επίσης τσέκαρε και το μενού υποτιτλων μέσα απο την ταινία μήπως βρίσκει απο εκει το αρχείο srt.Aπ ότι είδα δεν δουλεύουν τα .srt αρχεία... Δουλεύουν οι υπότιτλοι κάπως αλλά επειδή δεν είμαι και πολύ του αθλήματος με τα dvix αρχεία ας μας πει κάποιος που θα το κατεβάσει αργότερα τι παίζει... Πάντως υπότιτλους παίζει...
δοκιμάστε και αγγλικούς υπότιτλους για κάθε ενδεχόμενο
To αρχείο το βλέπει μέσα από το video αλλά δεν εμφανίζει τους υπότιτλους... Απλά δεν λειτουργούν τα .srt από ότι κατάλαβα. Πάντως το ότι αναγνωρίζει είναι μεγάλο βήμα, ελπίζω να μας δώσουν γρήγορα κάποιο update που να τα υποστηρίζει!

Κατι παω να βρω, θα σας πω σε λιγο ποιο σιγουρα...

Λοιπον ειναι απλο, κατεβαζετε αυτο το προγραμμα http://userxp.tripod.com/sub2divx.htm το οποιο κανει Avi αρχεια σε divx και ενσωματωνει μεσα τους υποτιτλους σε ξεχωριστο stream χωρις να χρειαστει re-encode.
Πολύ δύσκολο αυτό το πρόγραμμα ρε παιδί μου πως να το κάνω αυτό που λες.....για πες πως γίνετε ρε Slay
