Project Cars 2's Gameplay Systems And New Brands Detailed, Releasing In September 2017

New details about Project Cars 2 are starting to slip as we get closer and closer to the official release date. A release date is still missing, to be honest, but according to Slightly Mad Studios head Ian Bell the game is set to drop in a "September" window, so at the very least it is out in the second half of the year - two years after the original Project Cars.

New information also include cars to be offered in the game, which, this time, is not lacking any of the most appreciated brands out there. While further details are still under NDA, it seems the likes of Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini will all be part of our garages when the game release, so at least this aspect has been fixed in comparison with the original.
Moreover, new gameplay systems have been introduced and more stuff has been fixed taking into account the original Project Cars' feedback coming from players. Project Cars 2 features new rendering system, new modules to the physics, drivetrain, differential and tyre modeling systems, and FFB presets.

Looks like realism is still a pillar to this project, and we couldn't be more glad to hear that. Hopefully things get better when it comes to ship Cars 2 on Xbox One and PS4, where performances were a bit disappointing, and most importantly the game gets longer support in comparison with the original, whose momentum was mined by a sequel's announcement in about one year.
