    How do you stand out in what’s quickly becoming the most populated subgenre in games? Well, Polish developer Techland, known for Call of Juarez and Dead Island, feels that its new entry into the “try not to get killed by zombies” field is inspired by enough beloved works while delivering an equally impressive suite of original ideas to make people pay attention.
    Coming in 2014 to both current and next-gen consoles, Dying Light feels like a zombie action game through the lens of DICE’s parkour classic Mirror’s Edge. The pessimist in me assumes that we’ll never see another Mirror’s Edge game from EA, so the prospect of another developer building upon the concept of first-person free-running is certainly exciting. Much like the 2008 cult hit, the initial moments of the Dying Light demo I saw placed an emphasis on building momentum, finding open paths throughout the environment, and trying to reach your destination in as efficient a manner as possible.

    Οπως και το Dead Island και το Zombi U μου είχαν φανεί πολύ ενδιαφέροντα, αλλά τελικώς δεν έπαιξα κανένα! Φαίνεται καλή προσπάθεια.. Για να δούμε..

    Eγω τελικα επαιξα με μεγαλη καθυστερηση το Dead Island (το original για το Riptide δεν εχω αποψη) και μπορω να πω οτι ηταν μια αξιοπρεπεστατη προσπαθεια στον χωρο των open world παιχνιδιων. Ηταν αρκετα repetitive απο καποιο σημειο και επειτα, ειχε πολλα τεχνικα προβληματα αλλα φαινεται οτι πισω απο αυτο το εγχειρημα υπαρχει ταλεντο και μια μηχανη γραφικων με μεγαλο potential. Αν το project ηταν ξεκαθαρα next gen ακομα και excited θα μπορουσα να ειμαι, τωρα μιλαμε για αλλον εναν cross gen τιτλο οποτε προς το παρον cautious μεχρι να δουμε περι τινος προκειται.
    Η Techland αν δεν κανω λαθος ειναι μια Πολωνικη εταιρεια που δουλευει με τη δικη της μηχανη, απ οτι καταλαβαινω αλλαξαν και publisher (Warner απο Deep Silver που ηταν) οποτε λογικα θα εχουν και περισσοτερα μπικικινια. Να δουμε.

    Πιστευω θα ειναι πολυ καλο φυσικα πιο απολαυστικο ειναι οταν το παιζεις με 2 ή 3 φιλους σου μαζι οπως το Dead Island.

    Νέο βίντεο...



    Παρατήρησα ότι στο τέλος λέει ps3 & ps4 μόνο, ενώ παλαιότερα βίντεο έλεγαν και Xbox 360.

    ειναι επειδη το video το εχει ανεβασει η sony, το ιδιο τραιλερ υπαρχει και παλι στο youtube , και γραφει και x360 kai xbone.

    Nομιζω οτι ειναι μια αξιολογη προσπαθεια να φρεσκαρουν το franchise (το 2 δεν το εχω παιξει αλλα τα reviews ελεγαν more of the same, repetitive κτλ), εχουν κρατησει τον ανοιχτο κοσμο που ηταν ολα τα λεφτα στο Dead Island (και αλλα ωραια στοιχεια οπως τα custom made melee weapons) και εχουν προσθεσει το parkour ala mirror's edge αλλα και τα διαφορετικα στυλ παιχνιδιου αναλογα με το αν ειναι μερα η νυχτα. Τα γραφικα επισης (next gen εκδοση obviously) αρκετα καλα οποτε ειναι σε καλο δρομο νομιζω και σε πρωτη φαση με ψηνει.

    Much of this “next-gen feel” is tightly connected to the technological side of Dying Light. For instance, up to 200,000 objects can be displayed in the game at once. Add to this our use of realistic, physics-based lighting technology and you really start to push the next-gen systems to the limits. Features like these along with our core gameplay pillars – such as the player-empowering Natural Movement, threefold character development system, and vast open world – are all an inherent part of how Dying Light plays. However, combining all of these into one fluid experience is only possible on technologically advanced platforms.
    Therefore, after thorough internal testing, we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to leave past-gen systems behind and release Dying Light exclusively on the next-gen consoles and PC. Put simply, older consoles just couldn’t run the game and stay true to the core vision of Dying Light at the same time.
    To ensure you enjoy Dying Light as much as we would like you to, we chose to release it without any compromises on the three strongest systems available. Thanks to this, you’ll get the full and best experience regardless of the platform you play on.
    We hope you understand the hard choice we’ve had to make. With the launch just around the corner, we can’t wait to show you Dying Light in the state it was meant to be. We’re looking forward to your reactions and impressions as we release the game in January 2015.

    Νομιζω καλυτερα εκαναν και ειπαν να αφοσιωθουν στα δυνατοτερα συστηματα!Αφενος μεν θα εχουν λιγοτερα κοστη και περισσοτερο χρονο να τελειοποιησουν-αξοιποιησουν το τιτλο για τα τωρινα συστηματα,αφετερου δε, το να εκδιδαν ενα τιτλο με προβληματα και περιορισμους στα προηγουμενης γενιας συστηματα, δε θα τους κολακευε σαν εταιρεια!Ισως γινει κατι αντιστοιχο και με το Hellraid?

    επειδη εχω μια φοβια τωρα τελευταια με τα frames,κραταω μικρο καλαθι γιατι απο λογια αλλο τιποτα ολοι τους.τερμα οι προπαραγγελιες,πρωτα reviews και εντυπωσεις κ μετα αγορα. οντως καλη η κινηση αυτη που εκαναν,με αυτα που διαβασα.....μου παρουσιαζουν ενα masterpiece! αντε να δουμε....
