Εγω ειδα λιγα πραγματα γιατι δεν θελω να ξερω και πολλα μιας και το heavy rain ηταν ενα απ τα αγαπημενα μου παιχνιδια στο ps3 και ανυπομονω για το detroit.
Αυτα που παρατηρησα και ειναι πολυ ενθαρυντικα ειναι οτι εχει μεγαλυτερα περιβαλλοντα και βλεπω πολλες επιλογες που φαινομενικα θα εμπλουτισουν το gameplay..θα ηθελα να παει ενα βημα μπροστα ολο αυτο με τα QTE και να δημιουργήσει ενα υπέροχο στόρι όπως στα δυο προηγουμενα..

Detroit: Become Human--the upcoming neo-noir game from Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls developer Quantic Dream--will launch in 2018, director David Cage has confirmed.

Detroit: Become Human - Gamescom Interviews

Some tidbits, but if you have the opportunity, watch the full interviews as they are pretty interesting to watch:
- Works on the game since 2013, 200 employees at QD on the game now
- Had user sessions very early on in development to get feedback (didn't with Heavy Rain); watched how users play the game and even used telemetry
- Game is QD's least linear game; decisions in Detroit BC have real impact on game storyline (unlike Telltale games for example)
- In the Marcus scene, you can choose to become the leader of the revolution, but you can also choose to just move away. If you start a revolution, you can choose to have it become violent or peaceful.
- Fight Club was analysed to see what it means to be a leader and how the masses follow that leader.
- Gamescom demo scene has 7 or 8 different endings, and even more ways to get to these endings
- Initially, they wondered how early in the game they can let the player have decisive decisions. They talked to Sony (due to production costs), and they said "do as you think it's necessary"; Sony gave them free reigns.
- Game is also suitable for those who normally don't play, but they also try to have challenges for core gamers and offer a separate interface for those
- Looked at studies to determine when the game should play: one study in particular asked when people expect human androids to exist, majority said around 2040, therefore they chose that time
- Quantic Dream collects data from gamescom/event demo sessions for QA; game is very difficult to playtest due to all the different decisions


Looks to be a massive game. Unfortunately still no releasedate.

Πάντα ανυπομονώ για τα παιχνίδια του Cage. Aς μην έχουν τόσο πολύ gameplay, ας έχουν κι ελάχιστο (αν και θεωρώ ότι έχουν όσο πρέπει), κι ας μην χαρακτηρίζονται καν "games" από κάποιους. Interactive movies, κανένα πρόβλημα. Είναι καλό να υπάρχουν τέτοιες δημιουργίες. Ποιος μετάνιωσε που έπαιξε Ιnidigo Prophecy (Pharenheit), Heavy Rain, Beyond (που, αν και δεν ήταν σαν το HR, ήταν πολύ καλό). Και το story δείχνει πολύ ενδιαφέρον. Τα multiple endings είναι ένα καλό στοιχείο, αλλά γενικά δεν με πολυαπασχολεί, γιατί πιστεύω η επιτυχία αυτών των παιχνιδιών είναι στην ατμόσφαιρα και τα συναισθήματα που προκαλούν. Μπορεί ένα παιχνίδι να είναι κάργα linear και να είναι παιχνιδάρα.
Αγορά day one.......

Detroit: Become Human dev budget = about €30 million

Among the huge amount of information published about Quantic Dream these past few days, there's a few figures worth pointing out which I almost didn't notice:

Heavy Rain has sold 5.3 million units (Source: http://www.lemonde.fr/pixels/articl....6_4408996.html)

Compare this to May 2017, when the game had sold 4.5 million units (PS3 + PS4 versions combined) (Source: http://comicbook.com/gaming/2017/05/...quantic-dream/)

Le Monde's article also reports that the budget for Detroit: Become Human is around €30 million (but doesn't specify whether or not that includes marketing and distribution).
