'LittleBigPlanet' Studio Head Discusses What's to Come For 'Dreams'
How has it been working with Sony? Obviously, Sony's a platform holder, so for them it's really important to have interesting experimental games, and they have to support that kind of thing. Are they very hands on?
We are a very proud studio, it's such great company to be in. From the beginning, they have held our hand. Sony people aren't here every day, but we have Shuhei [Yoshida] visiting next week. We were just presenting with Sony in LA a couple of weeks ago. When you're a Worldwide Studios team, the deal is you have to make things that really help show off what PlayStation is all about. We work really hard to make sure we do that. All through the relationship, they've been really supportive of what we're doing. Shuhei has been a really incredible supporter of Dreams, and saw the potential of it right at the beginning he's been a great advocate there. He really, really wants us to get it out to the community, and we're working very hard to do that.
Has the VR element been really interesting to people in the studio?
It's amazing. Seeing people create in Dreams in VR is amazing, and being able to wander through those worlds is amazing. It's a total no-brainer for us to do that and to support it, because it's just awesome. Every visitor that comes to our house wants to try VR. People who have no other interest in games are like, "Let me see it," and then they are just always blown away.

Το μας ζαλίσατε τα ούμπαλα πως λέγεται στα αγγλικά;
Eιναι τοσο under the radar, που ουτε και που θυμομουν την υπαρξη του. Θα ειναι πραγματικα κατορθωμα εαν καταφερει να κανει καμμια ουσιωδη πωληση.

Media Molecule’s Dreams To Get PlayStation VR Compatibility
source: VR FocusSpotted by a keen eyed Redditor in the latest EDGE magazine, Media Molecule has said: "Create mode will be fully compatible with VR (not at launch, we’re told, but at some point in the future) and other people’s virtual-reality dreams will be playable".
PS4 Exclusive Dreams May Potentially Allow Players To Create And Sell PSN Games
“That’s not really something we’re talking about at the beginning- but it’s one of the long term goals in my mind.”source: GamingboltMedia Molecule has been a pioneer of user generated content on console games for a very long time now- long before Minecraft and Super Mario Maker, LittleBigPlanet was allowing users to create their own platformer levels. Their new game, Dreams, looks even more ambitious, letting players create entire spaces and games using full fledged tools.
Apparently, there may even be a potential one day for players to sell their Dreams creations as PSN games. Speaking to the EDGE in their March issue (316), Media Molecule’s Mark Healey talked about the prospect of one day letting users sell their creations- which is not something the game will support upfront, but is still something that may happen in the future.
“Potentially, in [the] future, some people could use [Dreams] to make a PSN game, for example. That’s not really something we’re talking about at the beginning- but it’s one of the long term goals in my mind. The problem arises with making sure that everyone who contributed to the game gets credited properly, so there are some sticky areas to tackle there.”
Hopefully, this is something Media Molecule and Sony iron out, however- a generation of budding indie game designers could get their first exposure to development on PlayStation, developing an affinity to the brand that is sure to be helpful for Sony in the long run. You can check out the story for Dreams, and get more information on the game, in EDGE’s March issue. You can subscribe to the latest EDGE Magazine over here.
