New Details On Dreams For PS4 From Todays Media Molecule Twitch Stream
New details on dreams on PS4 were revealed from todays Media Molecule live stream. Theyve teased us quite a bit until we get to Paris Games Week. Dreams on PS4 is a far left type of game that is evolving in great magnitude. As most of you now know, Dreams is not a movie maker, even though you can make movies, you can make gameplay, even by building movies into gameplay. Lets take a further look into that first dream weve seen of the polar bear.
Dreams is much more than Little Big Planet. Itll be easier to mash up and create anything. Well have more at Paris Games Week on Dreams for PlayStation 4.

MEDIA MOLECULE'S 'DREAMS' SCULPTS GAMES FROM YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS
.MM says, their work won't be stuck in their walled garden. Everything players make in Dreams can be exported -- to the game development platform Unity, for instance, or to 3D printers. If this works, Dreams (and the PS4) could instantly become one of the most creative tools in digital arts. If hints at other companion software, perhaps for Apple's iPad, are realised, Dreams might be much more than a video game. Full-length animated movies, for instance, could be created in Dreams -- and MM really hopes that artists will pick up that challenge.

An Update on our Dreams Beta
http://www.mediamolecule.com/blog/ar...r_dreams_beta#Its getting close to the end of 2016 and its time to let you all know that the beta trial for Dreams wont be starting this year. We are sorry for being a bit quiet of late and for disappointing people not being at PSX, but sometimes you have to just shut the doors, take the phone off the hook and hunker down and thats exactly what we have been doing!
Now I know it may be difficult to hear, and delays make us sad too. However Dreams is Big. Really big. I mean, we always knew we were a bit crazy, but the enormity of it has taken even us by surprise. And rather than cutting corners we are staying true to our vision that Dreams isnt just about drawing, or sculpting, but also game creation, storytelling, animation, music and sound, all rolled into one whole beautiful PlayStation game.
We are well on the way, and have had a really productive year. We have ticked off many big tasks including implementing a working rough cut of the full feature set, starting the QA/developer version of the trial and making good progress on the game campaign we are making within Dreams. The results we are getting in the studio are truly amazing but we have a bit more to do before we share it with the world. We dont want you to have to squint through a haze of bugs or unfinished features, so were going to share our progress with you all in the New Year!
And so though it means a bit of a delay to the beta trial, rest assured we are working as hard as ever! We are going to keep hunkering down, and will use the energy from you all to get through our work as quickly as possible!
