    Αυτό μου φαίνεται κάπως ριψοκίνδυνο, αλλά και το the last of us ριψοκίνδυνο ήταν κατά την γνώμη μου, και όλοι είδαμε την αποδοχή του από τον κόσμο. Μπράβο στην Sony που αφήνει τα στούντιο της να παίρνουν διαφορετικές από την πεπατημένη προτάσεις.

    Horizon Zero Dawn RPG elements somewhere between Assassin’s Creed and Skyrim

    “I guess you’re wondering where we are on that spectrum of, on the one side more action-orientated games like Assassin’s Creed, and on the other hand you have your Elder Scrolls and these kinds of series,” managing director Hermen Hulst told Games Radar.

    I think we’re in-between. We have elements in both directions, and that probably puts us somewhere in between.”

    Horizon Zero Dawn Will Offer “Hours and Hours of Exploration;” Everything in the Game Is There for a Purpose

    Guerrilla Games want to make Horizon Zero Dawn a successful new IP, and they are planning to do it with “hours and hours of exploration.”
    Guerilla Games’ Managing Director Herman Hulst, stated that they aren’t aiming to build the biggest open-world game we have seen yet, but a quality journey that offers “hours and hours of exploration” in a “post-post-apocalyptic playground.”
    “It’s a big world. It’s never been our ambition to make the biggest possible world, cause it’s not really about that, it’s about the quality of the journey, and the quality of the tactical combat against these machines. But it’s a vast world that’s hours and hours of exploration in this post-post-apocalyptic playground.”
    When asked about achieving the balance between both futuristic and ancient scenery, he said that they focused on making everything in the game have a purpose. He also stated that there will be different tribes, each with its own traditions. Those tribes will also treat Aloy differently.
    “I think the strength of Horizon is that everything that’s in the game is there for a purpose, everything is coherent. There’s a lot of cohesion between the tribes, how Aloy relates to the tribes, the machines, the robotic creatures in the game, what their function is, how they interrelate, how Aloy relates to them. So actually if you think it through, it’s one big plan.”
    “The tribes are very different and you’re gonna explore in this game why the tribes look so different from each other, why they treat Eloi so differently. There is a purpose for that.”

    Κι άλλα καλά νέα. Φαίνεται ότι η Guerilla έχει κάτι πολύ καλό στα χέρια της, αν δεν κάνουν καμιά μαλακία θα είναι από τις σημαντικότερες αποκλειστικότητες του ps4 πιστεύω.

    “The reality is, a certain size of the world I think demands a mount, right? We take a look at a world like The Witcher, which is an enormous world, we take a look at a world like Skyrim, which is 41 square kilometers, and they’ve added mounts.

    We take a look at GTA or Saints Row, those are games that have cars, right? So they have “mounts.”

    We’re not ready to talk about the different ways that Aloy moves around the world, but what I can guarantee is, it’s not just walking and running. Certainly, she gets around the world in a couple of different ways.”

    ενταξει λιγο πολυ μας λενε οτι θα μπορει να καβαλα ρομποτικους δεινοσαυρους, δεν διεκρινιζει εαν θα μπορει να παρει και ρομποτικο πτεροδακτυλο και να πεταει.

    Simple fanboy question: how big is the biggest machine in the game?

    Really, really big actually. The Thunderjaw that you saw is 24 meters long by 10 meters high. That’s not the biggest. There are two or threee machines that are even larger than the Thunderjaw.
    How big is the team working on Horizon?

    Without getting into specific numbers, the team working on Horizon is more than 150 people. The bulk of the team did transition over from Shadow Fall sort of in late 2013, early 2014. Before then it was actually a very small team.

    Εγω το βρηκα καλυτερο απο την τελευταια φορα, με περισσοτερες λεπτομερειες και καλυτερη χρωματικη παλετα.

    Βεβαια παρατηρησα οτι σε καθε εκρηξη επεφταν τα frames σε μεγαλο βαθμο. Καλα εκει που σκανε τα ρομποτοελαφα πανω στις παγιδες πρεπει να επεσε στα 10fps.

    Πιστευω ομως οτι θα ειναι ενα εντυπωσιακο παιχνιδι με πολυ πολυ υλικο για εξερευνηση.

    Guerrilla Games Explains Why Horizon Zero Dawn Doesn’t Need a Multiplayer Mode

    Back in October, Guerrilla Games said that its upcoming RPG Horizon Zero Dawn will tell an “incredibly rich story,” which revolves around a hunter named Aloy. The game won’t feature a multiplayer mode, and according to Executive Producer Mark Norris, it’s because multiplayer elements wouldn’t work well what the developer is aiming to achieve. In an interview with IGN Latin America this past week, Norris said (translated):

    "There are questions as to why a multiplayer will not do. The reality is that we are putting together a new IP. We are making a new franchise for the first time in 10 years and what we really want to do is improve the experience for the player. When you get to face these machines as Aloy, with this great character, who is the real star of the story and everything that happens, have this connection with her, what happens when you add the elements of multiplayer? You play as a supporting character? How does that work?"
    Norris then made reference to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, stating that Horizon Zero Dawn is similar to CD Projekt RED’s RPG in that aspect.

    "It is an action RPG with a single player experience. I think we’re similar in that way, we want this to be the story of Aloy. Although a multiplayer mode is great and maybe we can think of something for the future, we want Horizon Zero Dawn’s story to be about Aloy and it’s going to be fantastic when you play it."

    Horizon Zero Dawn is scheduled for release in 2016 and, according to Sony, is one of the games that will make PlayStation 4 “the best place to play” this year.

    Για μένα αυτά είναι πολύ καλά νέα. Δίνουν όλη τους την προσοχή στο single για το πρώτο παιχνίδι σε αυτό το σύμπαν και ετσι πρέπει.

    Μετά αν το ψάξουν μπορεί και να τους βγει κάτι σε multi που να είναι σχετικά πρωτότυπο και να ταιριάζει.

    Ελπίζω να βγει καλό το παιχνίδι και να έχουμε ένα φρέσκο IP με γυναίκα ηρωίδα να χαιρόμαστε!
