    Ισως τα καλυτερα γραφικα που εχουν εμφανιστει μεχρι στιγμης σε open world παιχνιδι!!και οτι εντυπωσιακο εχουμε δει μεχρι στιγμης.Ανυπομονω σαν τρελος την ημερα που θα βγει το συγκεκριμενο επος,και θα το εχω στα χερια μου.Ακομα δεν μου κλεινει το σαγονι με το που ξαναβλεπω ξανα και ξανα το gameplay trailer.

    Λατρεύω το art design της Guerilla. Τα μηχανήματα/οχήματα/όπλα που σχεδιάζουν και τον τρόπο που κάνουν τα μοντέλα των χαρακτήρων τους σε συνδιασμό με το animation να δείχνουν ότι έχουν "όγκο" και δεν είναι απλά τρισδιάστατα textures. Day One!

    Επίσης το παιχνίδι φαίνεται να έχει και εκπληκτικό soundtrack.
    Μιας και λενε για κυκλοφορία το 2016 θεωρώ πιο πιθανό μέσα στα Χριστούγεννα.
    Μια και άνοιξη του 16' εχουμε κυκλοφορία του Uncharted οπότε 2 δυνατούς τίτλους δε είναι λογικό να τους βάλει να κονταροχτυπηθούν.
    Καλοκαίρι είναι σχετικά νεκρή περίοδος οπότε υπάρχει πιθανότητα να το "κάψει" και να μην κάνει τις αναμενόμενες πωλήσεις.
    Ενώ η περίοδος των Χριστουγέννων ειναι ιδανική για την κυκλοφορία του τίτλου.

    Shuhei Yoshida Talks About Horizon: Zero Dawn, Dreams and Avoiding Sequel Fatigue

    • Many among the core team at Guerrilla wanted to do something new after working on Killzone for a long time. On the other hand, many that joined afterwards wanted to work on Killzone, so it was a good time for that core team to work on Horizon, while the rest of the team worked on Killzone: Shadow Fall.
    • They came out with many different concepts, but in the end they were narrowed down to what Horizon is now.
    • Horizon is made with the second generation of Guerrilla’s engine on PS4. It can do amazing vistas and can support a lot of objects on screen.
    • The gameplay is completely new, so the team focused on getting it up and running really early in the process. The game has been playable and being playtested for over a year.
    • The different machines have different AI.
    • You can use several kinds of different arrows with additional effects.
    • Each machine requires you to think a different strategy, and it feels “really really good.”
    • Since the game has a vast amount of gameplay in it, the team wanted every moment of the gameplay to “feel right.” The team’s focus on that side of the game is what excites Yoshida-san most, even if what is most visible at first is the beautiful scenery

    What You Didn't See In The Horizon Zero Dawn Trailer

    In a behind-closed-doors demo of the title with live gameplay, we saw an alternate take on the events of the trailer as well as found out more info on the title's crafting and more.
    While most of the herd escapes up the river, a few Alpha Grazers stay behind to engage Aloy and protect the herd's escape. All this commotion draws the attention of a large Thunderjaw – an 80 foot long, 30-foot wide beast. As large and formidable as the beast is – with its arsenal that features a mouth laser, tail disc launcher, tail stomp attack, charge attack, and more for a total of a dozen different attacksit also has 93 plates that can be hit and destroyed to expose the machine's weak spots (which cause three-times the damage), most notably the brain and power core. Also not shown in the video was the fact that when you hit an enemy the damage points are shown, old-school RPG style.
    In the demo, Aloy still takes out the watcher sentry stealthily, but before engaging the herd machines called Grazers to collect some of the canisters on their backs she sets a trap. Using a type of bow with a special explosive cable, she sets up trip wires between two rocks near the river. Then she fires an explosive arrow on the opposite side of the Grazers, sending them toward the river and her trap. A number of them explode, dropping the canisters Aloy needs to collect for her mission.
    Aloy will have her own ammo supply during fights since you can craft during battles right from the radial weapon menu (accommodating four weapons, each with three types of ammo) which slows down the action but doesn't bring it to a full stop
    The demo's encounter with the Thunderjaw can occur naturally as players travel through the open world – whether they are of a high enough level to take on such foes or not. The developer stressed that Horizon is a single-player only title with a fully open world letting you go anywhere with no loading and with plenty to do.

    Παρολο που το παιχνιδι δεν ειναι του γουστου μου και δεν θα το αγορασω, για αλλη μια φορα (απο αυτα που ειδα) η Guerilla δειχνει τι gaming studio ειναι και ποσο game fanatics ειναι. Οι ανθρωποι εχουν μερακι και αυτο φαινεται. Ειμαι περιεργος να δω αν θα κρατησουν τα πολυ ψηλα στανταρντς ποιοτητας στο launch quality που παραδοσιακα εχουν, μια που το παιχνιδι ειναι open world και οι απαιτησεις ειναι μεγαλες. Ευχομαι πραγματικα το gameplay να δικαιωσει τους φιλους του ειδους και να ειναι ανταξιο των εκπληκτικων γραφικων και concept art. Μακαρι και η ιστορια να ειναι καλη.
    Αξιζει αυτη η εταιρεια αναγνωριση!

    Είναι από τα παιχνίδια που αναμένω και μου έμεινε από αυτήν την E3, κυρίως γιατί μου άρεσε τρελά το setting. Θυμίζει πάρα πολύ το Enslaved που ήταν από τα αγαπημένα μου παιχνίδια της προηγούμενης γενιάς.

    PS4 action-RPG Horizon: Zero Dawn will run at 1080p/30fps and is being developed on a modified version of the Killzone: Shadow Fall engine, Guerrilla has confirmed.

    "It is actually still the same engine but then [there is] an enormous leap from Shadow Fall to this," art director Jan-Bart van Beek told VideoGamer.com at E3 earlier today. "The Shadow Fall engine isn't an open-world streaming world engine so for the last two years a lot of technological effort has gone into actually being able to make it work like this."

    Horizon: Zero Dawn was revealed during Sony's E3 press conference on Tuesday, and sees players step into the role of a machine hunter called Aloy in an open world set 1,000-2,000 years after the apocalypse.

    The game launches exclusively on PS4 in 2016.

    Φαινεται οτι ειναι η ιδια μηχανη μιας και μοιαζει σε πολλα πραγματα με το Shadowfal, modified βεβαια για να μπορεσει να ανταπεξελθει με τον ανοικτο κοσμο.
    Το παιχνιδι ειναι ακριβως αυτο που ειχα στο μυαλο μου ενω επαιζα το forest level του Shadowfall, ελεγα μακαρι αυτη η ομαδα να μας δωσει κατι που να μην ειναι FPS, κριμα τοσο εντυπωσιακα γραφικα να ειναι σε ενα τοσο αδιαφορο παιχνιδι
    1080p @30fps οπως αναμενοταν, ενταξει με τετοια γραφικα ειμαι απολυτως ικανοποιημενος δεν περιμενα κατι αλλο και δεν με πειραζει καθολου.
    Ανυπομονω να δω και dynamic weather (πηραμε μονο μια μικρη γευση στο τελος του demo), με τετοιο επιπεδο γραφικων και destructibility αναλογη με αυτο που ειδαμε το οπτικο αποτελεσμα θα ειναι απιστευτο.

    Sony was worried about a female protagonist in Killzone dev's new IP

    "She's a female lead character," he said. "That has always been the vision by the team, but we had a discussion. Is it risky to do a female character?"

    Speaking to VideoGamer.com earlier today, art director Jan-Bart van Beek revealed that there is "a lot of interplay between the different weapons and ammo types, and there is a sort of creative aspect there where you need to find the right way to use weapons for particular robos. And that counts for a lot of the game. We don't tutorialise the game, we don't go and tell you how to hunt these robos or how they interact. You really have to go out there and explore these things by trial and error.
    "And it's the same case for learning about how the robos interact between themselves; who's protecting who and how they are all interconnected. You're always a little bit like David Attenborough where he's sitting in the bushes and studying these creatures trying to learn their behaviour, seeing how you can exploit that behaviour from them."
    "There is a skill tree," he continued. "There are two basic character development systems. First of all you're getting XP and you can use that XP to gain new perks. So that's the big one. One of the perks that you saw being used [in the demo] is the Precision Shot where you slow down time and that allows you to [aim] the arrows a little more precisely. Without that it's actually really hard to hit certain weak spots. [The character in the demo] is already an advanced character about level 12, I think.

    "But there's also basically a secondary way of upgrading your character, and that is through the harvesting and crafting system. By going into nature and defeating bigger and stronger robos you'll get better armour-plating, better weaponry and slowly but surely you'll develop your character in a more naturalistic way."
