Shadow of Mordor: Óôï neogaf õðáñ÷ïõí áíáöïñåò ãéá 900p ãéá ôï XBOX ONE. Åðéóçò ó÷åôéêá ìå ôá 60fps ôïõ PS4, áíáöåñïõí ïôé êáíïõí âïõôéáêáé(30 to 40 fps average)Ãéá íá äïõìå.(Been switching between the XB1 and PS4 version back and forth. The PS4 doesn't feel like 60fps. It does feel a little higher at times than the XB1 though)
Face-Off: Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
The Xbox One release is immediately on the back foot, with our pixel count tests highlighting an upscaled 1600x900 resolve for the platform. In contrast with the full native 1920x1080 output on PS4, it's undoubtedly a downgrade that echoes the state of many multi-platform releases this year.
the PS4 remains the best bang-for-buck version out right now. While broadly a match for Xbox One, its full 1080p resolution, higher shadow quality and increased foliage density barely put a dent in its v-synced 30fps performance. The Xbox One release is a solid 30fps too in matching frame-rate tests but the added visual treats on Sony's platform make this an easy one to call between the two.

Besides the 900p versus 1080p divide in native resolution, there are other noteworthy contrasts between the Microsoft and Sony versions. One of the biggest is in shadow quality, where Xbox One employs lower-resolution, flickering shadows that match the PC's medium standard. PlayStation 4, meanwhile, offers much sharper outlines - particularly on hand details as Talion presses to a wall, falling close to the PC's high setting. It's a clear PS4 lead here.
Added to that, while the Sony console falls very short of the PC's level of vegetation density, by comparison to Xbox One it still boasts a notable increase in foliage across the world.
Performance Analysis: Alien: Isolation
Graphical quality is generally excellent on both console platforms as we explore the terrorised Sevastopol space station, but it's clear that performance is the clear differentiating factor.the same level of graphical quality extends to both PS4 and Xbox One versions of Alien: Isolation. Native resolution comes in at 1080pIn essence, we have a locked parity between the two consoles in terms of image quality, but when it comes down to performance, it's clear that Sony console offers up a smoother and more consistent gameplay experience. The PS4 delivers a v-synced, fairly stable 30fps presentation with no screen-tear. Combat scenes against the alien and other foes incur a light drop in smoothness, but the engine quickly recovers and any loss in performance is minor.
