Naruto Storm Revolution High Quality Edo Kage , Team 7 Screenshots

YOSH! Namco Bandai Games has released high quality screenshots of Naruto Storm Revolution ! They feature the Edo Kage (the Fourth Kazekage , Second Mizukage , Third Raikage , and Second Tsuchikage) firing off their ultimate jutsus along with the reborn Team 7 (Naruto , Sakura , and Sasuke) getting ready to launch a combination team jutsu ! There are a few new screenshots mixed in with those shown in the latest scan. Take a look below along with the official press release.

New characters are joining NARUTO SHIPPUDEN : Ultimate Ninja STORM REVOLUTION impressive roster , among them we can count:
- The Second Mizukage and his deadly Water Pistol Jutsu.- The Second Tsuchikage with his unique Particle Style.
- The Third Raikage , a legendary Kage , considered as one of the fastest and most powerful man earth has ever witnessed!- Gaara’s father; the Fourth Kazekage and his ability to control gold dust.
As previously announced, one of the game’s revolutions is the Combo Ultimate Jutsu; in order to use this powerful and advanced technique, Kakashi’s former Team 7 reunites! By combining their forces , Naruto , Sasuke and Sakura will be able to blast a terrific attack and show the world how strong the Sannin of the new Era are !

Naruto Storm Revolution : Team 7 Battle Action Scan



YOSH !! A brand new Naruto Storm Revolution scan has been released ! It’s a Team 7 battle action scan , with Naruto , Sakura , and Sasuke taking on Mecha Naruto in his second awakened state. Naruto Storm Revolution : Second Mizukage Screenshots


YOSH ! Namco Bandai Games has today released new Naruto Storm Revolution screenshots featuring the Second Mizukage ! This marks the fourth day out of five of new Naruto Storm Revolution goodness ! On Monday we received Team 7 and general Edo Kage screenshots , on Tuesday we got a new scan , Wednesday brought 4th Kazekage Screenshots and today it’s Second Mizukage screenshots ! Two of the screenshots you may have seen already from the other day , but the rest are new.

Naruto Storm Revolution : Second Tsuchikage Screenshots

Namco Bandai Games has released new screenshots of Naruto Storm Revolution featuring the Second Tsuchikage , Muu ! Known for his particle style kekkei tota (and as the Null-Man for his skill of being able to hide his presence completely), the Second Tsuchikage pulls a few tricks in developer CyberConnect2′s latest fighter. In one screenshot he shows his ability to split into two physical forms and attack, while in the others he launches his particle style jutsu!

Naruto Storm Revolution – More New Edo Kage Screenshots

We all wanted the Edo Kage and Namco Bandai Games is letting us know in full force , they will be playable in Naruto Storm Revolution ! That’s the Third Raikage , Second Mizukage , Second Tsuchikage, and Fourth Kazekage ! This is the sixth batch of screenshots featuring the reincarnated Kage who were controlled by Kabuto in the anime/manga. There is also one image of the reborn Team 7 – Naruto , Sakura, and Sasuke. Some of these are new , while others are old , but they are all in beautiful high quality. If you click on each image , you can see the screenshot in it’s complete greatness !

Naruto Storm Revolution New Battle System Types


Developer CyberConnect2 is introducing a new battle system in their latest fighter , Naruto Storm Revolution ! The recent gameplay revealed the game will have teams that are comprised of a specific type – An Ultimate Jutsu Type , Awakening Type , and Drive Type.
Before we continue , Saiyan Island would like to point out that it’s unclear if the types are restricted based on a particular character or if players can select which type they want (like for support characters in the past Naruto games where players can select if their support is an attack types, guard type, or balance type). Our guess is players will get to select what type they can be. Again, that’s just our guess. Also , this information is based on an incomplete, demo version of the game so things may be different when the final version is released. We’re sure you may have more questions and we’ll be sure to update you as we learn more ! For now, take a look at the facts we
know , Saiyan Island’s thoughts , and images of the new battle system types.

Ultimate Jutsu Type

Facts : The first new battle system type in Naruto Storm Revolution is the Ultimate Jutsu Type. This type is the only one that can use an ultimate jutsu. In order to activate, chakra must be at above 80% or greater and then pressing triangle+triangle+circle (on PS3) will fire a combination ultimate jutsu. Alternatively, calling out support characters (R1/L1) will fill up the Storm gauge. Once the Storm gauge is maxed and chakra is above 80%, pressing triangle+triangle+triangle+circle will lead playable and support character to rush in for an ultimate team jutsu.

Analysis : It looks like for the Ultimate Jutsu type , the combination ultimate jutsu replaces the normal ultimate jutsu that we’ve known from past Naruto games for characters that have pairings. The team jutsu stays the same as Storm 3 , but since the ultimate jutsu has been replaced , the combination ultimate jutsu is performed at the end rather than a normal jutsu. If there isn’t a pair (for example if Naruto is on a team with one or two random supports), then we assume the standard ultimate jutsu is performed in both scenarios. Again,
that’s just what we at Saiyan Island think based on the image below.



Awakening Type

Facts : The second new battle system type in Naruto Storm Revolution is the Awakening Type. This type is the only one that can use an awakening. As this type, the Storm gauge increases when you or your opponent loses health. When the Storm gauge is at level 2 (or above) , the first awakening can be activated with the flick of the right stick. In the associated image, Sasuke’s first awakening is the initial manifestation of a incomplete Susanoo. When the Storm gauge is full to the max, then the second awakening can be activated by holding the triangle button.

Analysis : It looks like the instant awakening and adversity awakening mechanics from Storm 3 are altered with new conditions. The first level awakening is kind of like the instant awakening , well , except it’s not instant. It’s become kind of like the adversity awakening since you have to wait for the Storm gauge to fill. And again , the gauge is linked to health. The second level awakening may be easier to pull off when comparing to Storm 3 since either you or your opponent has to lose health to get the storm gauge closer to be filled max. In Storm 3 , the adversity awakening could only be pulled off when your health dipped below a certain level.



Drive Type

Facts : The third new battle system type in Naruto Storm Revolution is the Drive Type. This type is the only one that can use the support drive mechanic. Players can call out support with the L1 or R1 buttons and change their type – attack or defense – mid battle. The more supports are called out , the more the Storm gauge fills up. When the Storm gauge is at it’s max , the second level support drive automatically fires up with both drive types activated.
Analysis : The first level support is pretty self-explanatory. The second level support is where it get’s interesting. From Saiyan Island’s viewpoint , and we could be wrong , is it looks like all your support characters jump out to the screen once the Storm gauge is at the max. Then they will protect you if you need defense , otherwise they will attack the opponent on their own.

Naruto Storm Revolution : Ninja World Tournament Mode

Namco Bandai Games has revealed Naruto Storm Revolution will have 4 ninja melee battles in a new Ninja World Tournament mode !! At this time , the official press release (below) mentions the screenshots feature 1 human player against 3 CPU opponents. It’s unclear if 4 human players can play this offline or even online, but nonetheless it is very exciting !

NAMCO BANDAI GAMES Europe S.A.S. today released new info highlighting a brand new mode for NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM Revolution, available 2014 for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 game and entertainment system from Microsoft. The new assets showcase the upcoming four-ninja melee battles that players will be able to compete in against three CPU opponents in the all-new Ninja World Tournament mode. These battles are won by collecting Battle Orbs gained by attacking opponents. The character with the most Battle Orbs at the end of the match wins!

The Ninja World Tournament welcomes ninjas from around the world to Festival Island where they will seek out a variety of melee brawls against multiple opponents. Tournament entrants will be able to compete in tiered battles, working their way across the island to reach the S-ranked battles to be crowned the ultimate ninja. Reports have surfaced that the mysterious Mecha-Naruto has been seen on Festival Island. Mayhem is coming…?

Naruto Storm Revolution – New Scan on the Ninja World Tournament


New scan on Wednesday ? How about one on Tuesday, because we’re starting early here on Saiyan Island. YOSH! This latest scan from Shonen Jump shows off the recently revealed Naruto Storm Revolution: Ninja World Tournament Mode. This is a solo mission in which you, the player, take on 3 CPU opponents in melee brawls at a place called Festival Island. The objective? Obtain the most Battle Orbs before the end of the match! More information on the new mode and Mecha Naruto’s involvement in the game is expected later this month. A dozen high quality screenshots were released yesterday, so you can check then out over here. If you’ve already seen them, here is the scan, which contains 1 new, never before screenshot!

Naruto Storm Revolution : Jinchuriki, Mifune, Hanzo Confirmed


Han , Utakata , Fu , Bee , and Naruto are all confirmed Jinchuriki in Naruto Storm Revolution! The information comes from Namco Bandai Games, who has has released a handful of new screenshots from theNaruto Storm Revolution: Ninja World Tournament Mode. Aside from Naruto, the rest of the Jinchuriki haven’t necessarily been confirmed playable. The screenshot looks like it’s from a cutscene, but seeing as how they were in Storm 3, their status as a playable character is pretty likely. These images show a few different angles of the tournament when comparing with the previous batch. The Naruto Storm Revolution screenshots below also show the much desired Edo Kage once again along with Mifune and Hanzo! Gamakichi is in their too and he seems like a support/obstacle/boss of some sorts.

Naruto Storm Revolution Trailer 2


YOSH! Naruto Storm Revolution Trailer 2 is here and it features the Edo Kage who were controlled by Kabuto during the Fourth Great Ninja War. That’s the Third Raikage, Second Mizukage, Second Tsuchikage, and Fourth Kazekage! We’ve gotten a few dozen screenshots of their ultimate jutsu thanks to Namco Bandai and now finally we can see them in motion! Not only that, but the recently announced ninja world tournament is shown in action! Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, Kakashi, and Mecha Naruto duke it out on the game-exclusive location called Festival Island. The world tournament mode is single player mode in which you, the player, battle against three CPU opponents in a contest to get the most orbs. Mifune, Hanzo, Itachi, Tobi, Madara, Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, Minato, Ino, Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba, Shino, and the Jinchuriki are shown as well, but only through cutscenes.
