PS4 fastest-selling console in UK history, outsells Wii U LTD in UK

Sony's PlayStation 4 is the fastest-selling console in UK history, according to official sales figures.

Chart-Track said PS4 beat the eight-year record help by Sony's PlayStation Portable, which launched in 2005 to the tune of 185,000 sales. PS4 beat Xbox One, which launched on 22nd November, and its predecessor PlayStation 3.

It looks like PS4 has outsold Wii U lifetime to date in the UK

Update from MCV (thanks mpl90):

Gfk Chart-Track has confirmed that the machine has beaten PSP’s eight year-old sales record of 180k units sold in its first week. Xbox One sold 150k units in its first week

(Note that in both instances ‘week’ refers to Chart-Track’s sales week, which ends Saturdays – so most console’s ‘week one’ sales actually spans 48 hours).

The exact number of PS4s sold in the UK was not revealed, although MCV understands that the figure is not just higher than PSP’s 180k, but significantly so

Over 250k PS4 consoles were sold in the UK in the machine’s first 48 hours on sale.

Retail sources have confirmed the extent of PS4’s tremendous performance to MCV following Chart-Track’s confirmation this morning that PS4 is the UK’s fastest selling console ever.

Δες τέρμα κάτω. Το ένα το ακριβό δίνει refurbished PS4 + PS Vita και στα δύο δίνουν Killzone/assassin's creed+ 1 χρόνο plus. Στο φθηνό δίνει επιπλέον ghost και δεύτερο DS4. Δεν είναι άσχημες προσφορές θα έλεγα. Έχουν εγγύηση, είναι επισκευασμένες, άρα παίζει να είναι καλύτερες κα από brand new μερικές φορές ανάλογα το πρόβλημα.

Νομιζω οτι αν πουλησε 250.000 μονο UK (ενταξει ειναι η μεγαλυτερη αγορα) μπορει συνολικα στην Ευρωπη να ξεπερασει το μυριο. Θα δουμε οταν βγαλουν τα νουμερα, συμφωνα με τον Andrew House δεν βγηκαν τοσο γρηγορα οσο στην Αμερικη γιατι για καποιο λογο ειναι πιο δυσκολο να υπολογιστουν.

Κάντε μία βόλτα από τα καταστήματα, μιλήστε με τους φίλους και γνωστούς που τυχόν εργάζονται εκεί και ρωτήστε τους τι νούμερα έχουν στις παραγγελίες. Μακάρι να ξέρουν λιγότερα οι ίδιοι και περισσότερα στο site αυτό, with μεγαλύτερο community, comes μεγαλύτερο power.
