Milestone Regains MotoGP License After 4 Years, Launches In June

Publisher PQube announced a new iteration of the MotoGP franchise, made by developer Milestone. This motorcycle racing game will release in June 2013 for PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PS Vita.

Naturally, this realistic effort will include the official MotoGP championship and so players will be able to partake in the IRTA Test. A career mode will mix first and third person views for a new look. Multiplayer features are said to “recreate events inspired by reality.” Naturally, the license will offer official tracks and likenesses of the sport, but more importantly, MotoGP 13 makes use of a newly built engine that enhances visuals, sounds and physics.

Luisa Bixio of Milestone mentioned: “After four years, we’ve regained the license and we look forward to putting all the expertise we have developed during this time into the game.” Milestone has worked with the motorcycle riders themselves to create the game. A short teaser trailer was released, though it only shows past MotoGP champions.
