Δεν είναι το design μόνο. Είναι και το 16gb flash, άρα μιλάμε για ακόμα φθηνότερο προϊόν, άρα μιλάμε για ακόμα πιο ανταγωνιστικό προϊόν. Προσωπικά, η white version των τωρινών κονσολών, μου'χει κλέψει την καρδιά

New 12GB PS3 in two weeks

A German online retailer confirmed via Facebook that in October a new PS3 with 12GB of flash memory will appear. More information on the console has not been provided. It was speculated long ago that Sony would release a new version of the PS3. Sources are indicating that this PS3 will possibly have an even smaller box than the PS Slim, meaning a new ultra-slimline design is on the way. We're also expecting a hike in price, although no figures are available.

Sony's German PR chief Guido Alt commented that he knew nothing of the existence of such a console, when questioned by Gamereactor. But with Tokyo Game Show just around the corner, and with Sony holding a press conference next Wednesday, we'll likely know more in the very near future.

Ούτε καν 16GB τελικά? δεν μπορώ να φανταστώ τί πάνε να κάνουν με μια κονσόλα με τόσο μικρό αποθηκευτικό χώρο. Τα περισσότερα games απαιτούν κάποια GB install ενώ πχ το GT5 μαζί με τα updates θέλει περίπου 11GB..

Μόνο αν κάνουν την πατέντα της Microsoft και μετέπειτα της Nintendo, να επιτρέψουν στο ps3 να κάνει κάτι που το έχει ήδη πετύχει μέσω cfw ήτοι να κάνει χρήση εξωτερικού USB δίσκου για παιχνίδι κλπ stuff που μέχρι σήμερα δεν το επέτρεπε στους νόμιμους χρήστες. Αν το περάσουν με νέο firmware update και στις παλιές κονσολες, έχω 1ΤΒ να ρίξω επάνω να ανασάνει το δικό μου 80αρι ps3.

Λογικό είναι αν σκεφτείς ότι τα 16GB δεν είναι καθαρά 16GB, αλλά περίπου 14.9GB, ε βάλε και 2GB για την game cache και ότι άλλο κάνει reserve προκαταβολικά το OS, κάπως έτσι καταλήγουμε στα 12GB διαθέσιμη χωρητικότητα.

Ένα παράδειγμα (PS3 με 1TB HDD φρεσκοφορμαρισμένο):



Θεωρώ σχεδόν δεδομένο ότι το μοντέλο με 16GB SSD θα έχει το ίδιο συρταράκι για HDD. Δεν θα βγάλει τα μάτια της η Sony μόνη της, ειδικά τώρα που έχει και το PS+.

Θα συμφέρει περισσότερο να αγοράσεις το φθηνότερο μοντέλο + 1TB HDD.

Τελικά σείριαλ έχει γίνει αυτό με την super slim. Προφανώς η 16GB cloud edition.

Πιστεύω πως όταν λέει η sony 12GB (αν δεν είναι απλά φήμη δλδ) θα είναι 12 μείον τα όποια GB αφαιρούνται από το λειτουργικό. Αποκλείεται να εννοεί τα καθαρά GB όπως δεν το εννοεί και στις άλλες εκδόσεις.

Τώρα που το ξανασκέφτομαι τελικά συμφέρει όποιον έχει ήδη κάποιον 2.5αρι και κάθετε, υπό την προϋπόθεση βέβαια πως θα έχει την δυνατότητα να συνδεθεί/το θεωρώ κατά 99.99% βέβαιο πως θα έχει αλλά ας κρατάμε και μια πισινή μέχρι να επιβεβαιωθεί..
