Official Metal Gear Solid 4 thread (MONO εντυπώσεις και νεα,ΟXI spoilers!)

παιδια εγω εχω παιξει και το 1 και το 2(ακομα πιστευω οτι το πρωτο ειναι το καλητερο παιχνιδι που εχω παιξει ποτε)αλλα το 3 δεν το εχω παιξει γιατι δεν ειχα play2 τοτε.εσεις που τα εχετε τερματισει,για να μπω στο κλημα του 4 θα πρεπει να ξερω κατι απο το στορυ του 3?αξιζει να το νηκιασω να το παιξω μιας και εχω το 60αρη play3?

Το MGS3 ειναι χρονικα το πρωτο απο τα 3 και διαδραμιζεται το 1964.Ο πρωταγωνιστης ειναι ο bigBOSS(naked snake) και στα MGS1-MGS2-MGS4 δεν ζει.

Σε βοηθα να καταλαβεις καποια πραγματα το 3 και σιγουρα αξιζει να το νοικιασεις(το Subsistence που εχει ελευθερη καμερα) γιατι ειναι παιχνιδαρα.
Βεβαια τωρα ερχετε το 4 οποτε δεν ξερω αν προλαβαινεις.Μπορεις να το παιξεις και μετα το 4 αν θες

EDGE and EUROGAMER's MGS4 reviews are VINDICATED (CONFIRMED)


An email from PSXEXTREME's editor confirms that KONAMI hasnt shipped the review build of MGS4 to [COLOR=#0068B5 ! important][COLOR=#0068B5 ! important]Eurogamer[/COLOR][/COLOR] and Edge . The controversial sources gave the previous versions of MGS the same score as MGS4.

MGS4 received the same score as MGS3 from EDGE and EUROGAMER . they were never given the review code of the final build. Only a few reviewers were given the review codes of MGS4

EGM Refuse To Review MGS4 Because Konami Imposed "Limitations"

To recap: Konami are imposing restrictions on what publications can and cannot talk about when reviewing Metal Gear Solid 4. No mention of 90-minute cutscenes please, and while you're at it, no talky-talky about install sizes either, K? IGN are cool with that. EGM, refreshingly, are not. Due to "limitations Konami wanted to impose on our comments", the editorial team decided to refrain from giving the game a score, and in lieu of a "review" posted a lengthy roundtable discussion about the game instead. It's hardly a gloved fist on an Olympic dias, but it is nice seeing somebody do something about such an...unsavoury practice.

PSW Review: Metal Gear Solid 4

It's hard to know how to sum up MGS4 in a single word. 'Epic' could be used, but that might imply that small details are out of focus when they're not. 'Gargantuan' is a possibility, but then 'bloated' would also have to be strongly considered. Excellent? Definitely. Awesome? It's awe-inspiring in many respects. Extravagant? Oh yes.

So I'll do my best to sum it up, to give you a brief idea of how good it is, in, oh, about two and a half thousand words. That way I might just about scratch the surface of the content Kojima has jam-packed into this particular Blu-ray.

Despite all the technical wizardry on show, there's still a sense that we're being deprived of valuable gameplay for the sake of some flashy (albeit very, very flashy) story exposition. One or two sections of gameplay, too, are merely adequate and functional rather than exhilarating - but then we're all fans here, and that in itself means our expectations were maybe unreasonably high. It can't all be fireworks?!

So while MGS4's wilfully exclusive, staunch old-school feel (note that despite this, the interface and much of the story is perhaps the most accessible it's ever been - there's just loads of it) may prevent it being the perfect iteration of the series, it also has to be applauded. It hasn't been diluted, it's just as hardcore a [COLOR=#0068b5! important][COLOR=#0068b5! important]Metal [COLOR=#0068b5! important]Gear[/color][/color][/color] experience as ever, if not more so given the abundance of information to process and take in.

We risked being trampled by 300 rabid Hideo Kojima fans to bring you some photos and coverage of the event at HMV Oxford Street. Kojima himself was joined by the lead artist for the Metal Gear Solid series, Yoji Shinkawa, as well as Beauty and the Beast model Yumi Kikuchi. Together they signed 300 pre-order sleeves for Metal Gear Solid 4, in preparation for the game's launch next week. Check out our gallery below for photos of the VIPs along with the huge throng of people who came to greet them.
