Sony Teaser Almost Certainly Ratchet And Clank: Into The Nexus
After yesterday's teaser image posted by Sony, I saw people speculation from everything to a new IP, to a possible correlation between November 3rd's hybrid solar eclipse and the release date for the PS4. That's all wrong, though, as another teaser image was posted via Twitter today with an @InsomniacGames mention along with the link to the image above. Note the mention of "heroes" making a "return".
If that wasn't enough for you, someone managed to snap a screenshot (above) on their PlayStation Vita showing a PSN user playing a game called Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus. Later, another image surfaced showing yet another user, an Insomniac Games community PSN account, playing the same game.
Another Ratchet and Clank title is all but confirmed, and all that's left is to find out of the game will release on the PS3, the PS Vita, the PS4, or some sort of combination of the three. We'll update or create a new post when the information is made official.
PS4′s digital library lets you play your games anywhere & on anyones console
“You can visit your friends house you can log into your account and play any game from your digital library, which is good. But how useful is that if it takes half a day to download the game you want to play? With Play As You Download you get much quicker access to at least the first section of the game so you can start playing quicker. So this makes a digital library a practical option in the real world.”
“A similar system also works on Blu-ray, chunks are automatically copied to the hard drive in the background. This means that after the first few minutes your game can rely on having faster read speeds from the hard drive. Which provides a better experience for players, and this is a completely background process for the player. They dont have to wait for anything to install before playing the game. The game will launch as soon as the disk has been put in the drive.” Source: OPM
