SplitFish brings PS3 controller to UK PC-style playing on a PS3

SplitFish Gameware is bringing its gaming accessories to the UK headed up by the FragFX PlayStation 3 controller.
This is claimed to offer PC style gameplay on the PS3 and doubles as an optimized mouse for PS Home and web navigation.
It features a Frag button that allows users to slow target movement down for better aim accuracy, comes with six axis motion control and supports all PS3 games.
The FragFX also features a separate right hand mouse controller and detachable left hand grip controller, "ideal for experiencing the traditional PC mouse and keyboard style game play of shooter games in a console environment".
A menu mode on the mouse allows it to double as a regular mouse during menu selections. A lap mouse pad and left hand grip cradle are also included.
The left hand re-programmable grip offers six axis motion control "providing Wii-like motion sensitivity for the PlayStation 3", claims the manufacturer, who adds: "In games like Resistance: Fall of Man, to reload a weapon or to rifle butt an opponent, the user can swing the FragChuck".

Even before the PC version released, rumours of a PS3 conversion of the stunning Crysis (developed by Far Cry creators Crytek) were rife, and not far off the mark if insiders at the studio are to be believed. The game looks to be a port of the PC original plus some extra modes and features, a kind of Crysis 1.5. Like the PC game you can expect a visual powerhouse; an open-world shooter that begins on a beautiful tropical island before things take a turn for the worse and aliens from a parallel world stake a claim on Earth. Only the mighty Killzone 2 could possibly hold a candle to this shooter. For technical reasons we hear an Xbox 360 version of Crysis isn’t in development. Bet you’re glad you bought a PS3 now, eh?

Λένε πως o κύριος λόγος που δεν μπορεί να γίνει εύκολα port στο xbox360 είναι ότι το παιχνίδι βασίζεται πολύ σε streaming από τον σκληρό...

Το ps3 δεν μπορεί να βγάλει εις πέρας το crysis στην ultra high έκδοση.Για την high μάλλον αλλά και πάλι σε κάποιους τομείς θα γίνουν υποχωρήσεις αλλά σίγουρα δεν θα είναι σε full hd

In the latest edition of EGM magazine… the previews section in the last page say that Ninja Gaiden 2 is coming to Ps3.

So what does this mean is the game gonna come to the PS3 after all?

Όταν βγει το mgs4 δεν χρειάζεται να πέσει κι`άλλο η τιμή του ps3.Και...αύξηση να κάνουν πάλι θα πουλήσει τρελά

Ένα προϊόν που πουλάει δεν πέφτει η τιμή του.Όπως και η μικρή τιμή αγοράς του,μειώνει την "αξία" του.

Στις κονσόλες θες να πουλάς φτηνά και να κερδίζεις από παιχνίδια (και BD τώρα) ... η μικρή τιμή είναι πλεονέκτημα , τουλάχιστον μέχρι ένα επίπεδο.
