Players in a party can now use Share Play.
With Share Play, two PSN players in the same party can share a game screen. The host (the user who initiates Share Play) and the guest (the user who joins Share Play) can play the same game together while watching the same screen, or the guest can take the place of the host and operate the host's game screen.
To initiate Share Play, select [Share Play] from the party screen. Use of some features requires a PlayStation Plus membership.
Video clips can now be uploaded to YouTube.
You can now set themes for home screens and function screens for each user. Themes can be downloaded from PlayStation Store. Select themes in [Settings] > [Themes].

You can now add users of your PS4 as family members. This makes it easy to manage your child’s account information and to restrict PS4 features. To add family members, select (Settings) > [Parental Controls/Family Management].
As the family manager, you can set up your family.
Up to seven family members (including you) can be in your family and use online features.
Multiple adults can be in your family. The family manager can make other adults in the family parents or guardians. The family manager and family members who are parents or guardians can adjust parental controls for the children in your family.
You can configure parental control settings for each child. Using parental controls, you can restrict use of online features and communication with other players, set restrictions for games, restrict use of the Internet browser and set spending limits for PlayStation Store.
You can configure parental controls at any time from your PC or smartphone.
You can now follow anyone, not just verified accounts. Select (Follow) on a person’s profile screen and their activities and broadcasts will appear in [What’s New]. You automatically follow your Friends, but you have the option to unfollow them.
Recommendations for who to follow are now offered based on the games you play. Select (Friends) > (Follow).
You can now choose who can follow you and who can see your follow lists. Select (Settings) > [Account Management] > [Privacy Settings] and then configure each setting.

Main features in version 5.50 update
As a family manager, parent or guardian, you can now monitor your child’s time played (the amount of time they’ve spent logged in to the PS4) and set restrictions accordingly. To manage play time settings for each child, select (Settings) > [Parental Controls/Family Management] > [Family Management].
You can view your child’s total time played for the day.
You can limit how long your child plays per day and set playable hours to prevent play late at night or at other unwanted times. Restrictions can be set for each day of the week.
When the set play time ends, a pop-up notification appears repeatedly on the screen to let your child know that they’re out of play time. If you choose, the PS4 can automatically log your child out when play time ends.
You can also extend or shorten your child’s play time on the day they play.
You can view and manage your child’s play time at any time from your PC or smartphone using the (PlayStation App) or by visiting this website. https://www.playstation.com/acct/family
The following features have been added to (Library):
[PlayStation Plus] will now appear if you were ever a PlayStation Plus subscriber. You can keep track of all your free PS Plus games.
You can now hide games and applications you no longer need from [Purchased]. Highlight a game or application, press the OPTIONS button and then select [Do Not Show Content Item in [Purchased]].
Other features in version 5.50
[Supersampling Mode] has been added to (Settings) > [Sound and Screen] > [Video Output Settings]. Enable this mode to improve image quality in some games when your PlayStation 4 Pro is connected to a TV with 2K resolution or lower. This setting is only available on PlayStation 4 Pro.
You can now customise logos and backgrounds with your favourite images. On the image selection screen, select image files from a USB storage device. Customise any of the following:
Team logo
Team cover image
Background image for the home screen
Image for the message group
On the quick menu, (Online Friends) has been changed to (Friends). From here, you can view online Friends and custom lists.
Music playback functions on the quick menu have been improved.
You can now create events from the team profile screen. On the screen, select [Events] > [Create Event for This Team].
Easily find games that can be played on PlayStation VR from the home screen or (Library). (PS VR) appears next to supported games.
You can now delete notifications. Select (Notifications) to display the notifications list, press the OPTIONS button and then select [Delete].
You can now choose who can view the list of players you follow and who can view the list of your followers separately. Select (Settings) > [Account Management] > [Privacy Settings] > [Friends | Connections].

You can now choose 720p when you broadcast using Niconico Live. This service is only available in certain countries and regions.
You can now change the button assignment to perform βEnterβ operations from the (circle) button to the (cross) button.

Άλλος πάλι κάτοχος του PS4? Πιο κοντά από τον person? Αγόρι μου εδώ είμαστε... δεν μου λες που ακριβώς είσαι να το εξετάσουμε αυτό το θέμα της ταχύτητας παρέα; Ξέρεις πάντα δύο μάτια/αυτιά/χέρια... σόρυ τέσσερα χέρια είναι πάντα καλύτερα από τα μισά.
Να βάζαμε κάπου (π.χ. στο αρχικό post) τί περιλαμβάνει το κάθε update, wikipedia στυλ ένα πράγμα;
Νομίζω εμένα το έχει κάνει ήδη αυτό, από τις 13 που το παραλάβαμε, αυτό δεν ήταν;

γιατί κάθε μέρα ανακαλύπτω ότι λείπουν πάρα πολλά χαρακτηριστικά που είτε υπάρχουν σε PS3 ή Vita
είτε ήταν αυτονόητα να υπάρχουν εξ'αρχής.
Τα βασικά που λείπουν είναι τα παρακάτω αλλά θα μπορούσα να γράφω για ώρες για απλά και αυτονόητα πράγματα που απουσιάζουν.

Ε ναι ρε γαμοτο μεγάλη βλακεια να έχεις δωσει 100/180 ευρώ για το headset Sony και να μην το υποστηρίζει... Έλεος αυτη η SONY....

Για τα official headsets δεν τίθεται θέμα, έχουν δεσμευτεί πως θα δουλεύουν,
oι μικρές προσθήκες και βελτιώσεις είναι το θέμα που δεν ξέρουμε αν ποτέ γίνουν,
π.χ. σε άλλο thread γράφεις δεν κρατάνε τα χειριστήρια, ήταν τόσο δύσκολο να βάλουν στις ρυθμίσεις ένα on/off για το light bar του DS4?
Επίσης δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω γιατί δεν έχει στα settings μια επιλογή οn/off για το μικρόφωνο της κάμερας,
φαντάζομαι πολλοί που δεν θέλουν να κάνουν chat τραβάνε το καλώδιο όταν παίζουν multiplayer.
Στο Vita π.χ. είναι κάτι απλό, κρατάς πατημένο το PS button, μπαίνεις στο γρήγορο μενού και κάνεις disable το μικρόφωνο.
Στο Vita μπορώ να παίζω και ταυτόχρονα ν'ακούω mp3, ούτε καν CD δεν υποστηρίζει το PS4.
To touch pad είναι ανεκμετάλευτο στον internet browser
όταν το War Thunder το υποστηρίζει μια χαρά για πλοήγηση στα μενού του παιχνιδιού σαν να χειρίζεσαι ποντίκι.
Αν υποστήριζε και flash ο browser θα ήταν ακόμα καλύτερα.
Tις προάλλες που είχε πέσει το PSN στο PS4 δεν μπορούσα να δω τα trophies!!!
έπαιζα παιχνίδι και δεν είχα πρόσβαση να δω τι μου λείπει και τι πήρα,
στα PS3 και Vita υπήρχε εξ'αρχής η δυνατότητα να βλέπεις τα τρόπαια ενώ είσαι offline.
Πας να κατεβάσεις 2-3 αρχεία και τα κατεβάζει όλα ταυτόχρονα, έλεος ρε Sony να μην υπάρχει επιλογή για pause στα downloads
όταν υπάρχει ήδη στα PS3 και Vita.
Eίναι κι άλλα πολλά αλλά τα θυμάμαι όταν τα συναντώ στο PS4 και εκνευρίζομαι. :P
