The new publication is pencilled in for a UK PlayStation Network launch early next year, and will subsequently roll out to other European territories. Unlike Qore, issues will be released weekly. Οχι που θα το αφηναν ετσι...αφου πουλαει αλλωστε.

Hμουν σιγουρος οτι θα ξανα ανακατευοταν με το MGS ο Kojima, διαφωνω ομως για τον λογο που λες, οτι πουλαει δηλαδη, απλα ο Kojima αγαπαει πολυ αυτο που κανει για να το αφησει στην τυχη του.

Η αλήθεια βρίσκεται κάπου ανάμεσα. Από τη μία αυτή η σείρά ουσιαστικά είναι "παιδί" του από την άλλη όμως παίζει και το οικονομικό στη μέση (άλλωστε η εταιρία μπορεί να πιέζει). Βέβαια ακόμα δεν μπορούμε να ξέρουμε κατά πόσο στο MGS5 θα έχει ενεργό ή απλά συμβουλευτικό ρόλο!

Σιγουρα η Κοναμι πιεζει για καινουργια Metal Gear παιχνιδια , αφου πουλανε τρελα.Οποτε κατα καποιο τροπο η Κοναμι , δεν αφηνει τον Κοτζιμα να παρατησει το παιχνιδι , παρολο που αυτος θα το ηθελε.

Απο την αλλη , ο Κοτζιμα ,δεν θελει να αφησει το MGS γιατι φοβαται οτι αν το αφησει στην τυχη της Κοναμι , παιζει στο MGS5 να δουμε αλυσοπριονα και να ειναι πιο πολυ gears of war παρα MGS.Πιστευω οτι ασχολειται γιατι δεν θελει να καταστρεψουν την σειρα που τοσο μα τοσο αγαπαει.Και αυτο φυσικα ειναι καλο για εμας! :D

Seems Sony’s plan is to charge a yearly or monthly fee, while also one time fees for content downloads. It also mentioned hosting partners being EA, Sony, and Activision. So turns out not all games on PSN are going to be free after all. I wish I would have taken some screen captures of this email. Now here's something the PS3 can do but the 360 can't: - dynamic framebuffers

A gaming blog seems to have found out something pretty interesting for you all tech spec lovers out there. Wipeout HD is the first game (or one of the first) that operates with a dynamic framebuffer. Resolutions can alter on a frame by frame basis and the PS3's horizontal hardware scaler is used to make it all happen. The Xbox 360 reportedly can not do this and is limited to fixed resolutions.

The dynamic framebuffer is really quite an innovative solution to the perennial 1080p problem. Even though we're seeing major differences in resolution, the human eye really will have trouble realising the difference when the detail level is changing so rapidly in such a fast moving game.
In short, it's making an advanced-looking game like WipEout HD work at 1080p60 and that's pretty damn awesome.

SCEA anounces major retailers to sell PSN cards

40GB PS3 getting a $40 price cut

A leaked Blockbuster momo has revealed that Sony is permanently dropping the price of the discontinued 40GB PS3 as of Sunday. The price of the 40GB will now be $360, while a bundle including a HDMI cable, Spiderman movie and Tansformers game will be available for $400.

1UP has donned a cardboard box, snuck into Konami's HQ and escaped with news of a second Metal Gear Online expansion, which will be fully playable at next week's Tokyo Game Show.

The Meme Expansion packs three all-new maps. Silo Sunset is a gold-tinted, dog-eared collection of buildings, which apparently recalls the nuclear missile silo level from Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. Forest Firefight, as the name implies, is a verdant woodland area, and Winter Warehouse transports you to an icy landscape.

In addition, both Liquid Ocelot and Mei Ling have been confirmed as new playable characters.

A release date has yet to be announced.

Μεγάλη προσοχή στους massive online multiplayer τίτλους δίνει η Sony για τα συστήματά της.

Σύμφωνα με τον Smedley, ο στόχος της εταιρείας είναι όλοι οι τίτλοι της Sony Online Entertainment που θα κυκλοφορήσουν στο μέλλον να βρεθούν είτε στο Playstation 3 είτε στο Playstation Portable, και σε αυτούς συνυπολογίζεται και οποιαδήποτε μελλοντική κυκλοφορία που θα αφορά το Everquest, το πετυχημένο MMO της εταιρείας.
Η Sony επιδιώκει να καταστήσει το Playstation 3 οδηγό στο χώρο των MMO για τις κονσόλες, με πολυδάπανα project, όπως το The Agency και το DC Universe Online. Ο Smedley τόνισε επίσης πως στο μέλλον, τέτοιου είδους τίτλοι θα κυκλοφορούν ταυτόχρονα στα PC και τα συστήματα της εταιρείας, ενώ δεν απέκλεισε τα MMO της κονσόλας να γλυτώσουν τις χρηματικές συνδρομές, αν βρεθεί ένα μοντέλο που θα εξυπηρετεί τόσο τη Sony όσο και το κοινό.
