Μιλανε για franerate προβληματα και tearing στο ps4. Δεν θελω να πιστεψω οτι για χαρην του 1080ρ θα ειναι η εκδοση με το κακο framerate οπως εχει γινει με μερικα multiplatform τελευταια. Χρονος για optimization υπαρχει. Θα αξιοποιηθει;
Η έκδοση του Xbone θα είναι έστω και οριακά καλύτερη. Θες επειδή θα του αφιερώσουν περισσότερο χρόνο στο development (όπως οι φίλοι μας στη Ubisoft στην περίπτωση Unity), θές επειδή θα πετύχουν πιο σταθερό framerate;

PC Impressions
Consoles impressionsQuote:
During the presentation I played The Witcher 3 on Ultra and what I saw was indeed beautiful and fluid at the same time. For example – sunset…believe me – you won’t find a sunset as beautiful. Unfortunately, after some deep analysis by such a PC enthusiast as myself, the graphics do not make you fall to your knees anymore. Especially considering the fact that I played on a PC worth around 2000 USD. Don’t get me wrong – The Witcher 3 on the highest settings looks very good, it’s absolutely top class. However, some textures might have been even better, grass, trees, flowers – more detailed. I’m really worried how The Wild Hunt will look and run on lowest settings, all the more that the CDPR rep standing behind me explicitly forbid to change their level.
Note: "When PC version is discussed the author says he played the game on Ultra, but that has been already corrected, the Ultra setting wasn't available at the time."
The open worldQuote:
The PS4 version of the game I played was running in 1080p, 30 FPS. First that draws your attention are character models that make your jaw hit the floor. You can notice every detail of the eyes, every single hair on the White Wolf’s face, wrinkles on the faces or very nicely done hair – that of course concerns every character I met in the game unless they didn’t have wrinkles. In this aspect games like Middle Earth:Shadow of Mordor, Dragon Age:Inquisition or even new GTA are being left behind and if I was to make any comparisons it would be Infamous:Second Son or its standalone add-on First Light – the level is very similar. When it comes to armour elements attention to smallest details can be noticed too – light reflexes; small shimmering metal elements; realistic material textures like leather, wood, metal or cloth fabric.
The way things look it is hard to define the graphical option on consoles(from talking to a person playing on Xbox One I found out that it’s identical there).
Gameplay and how it resembles Gothic gamesQuote:
Contrary to what has been announced – the game’s world is not open from the very beginning(passages to other locations are closed by war blockades). Instead, access to next fragments will be unlocked along with our progress of the story – like in GTA series. However in any given moment we will be able to get back to all the places we visited previously. Initially it seemed to me as a departure from the open world promise given to the players, but confronting it with the vastness of prologue alone I cannot consider it as anything being lost. For those still anxious about it let me say that the TW3’s initially closed world is bigger than many other title’s open world’s.

Generally the gameplay in The Wild Hunt gets as close as possible to the first 2 games from Gothic series with all its advatanges and disadvantages. When it comes to the former, the game’s world is stunningly natural and believable; it simply lives. All those fields, meadows, forests, hills – in other words, all those bucolic landscapes gracing our eyes are as beautiful as Soplicowo from Pan Tadeusz. The world invites exploration. It was such a pleasure to ride on Roach’s back to a majestic windmill visible on the horizon or to dive in a pond to look for potion ingredients. You can used fast travel to move between previously visited locations. It lets you save some time but on the other hand traditional traversing the Witcherland has definitely more charm. Furthermore I got an impression that the game will keep that charm even when you already know it(just like Piranha Bytes productions).
'' Are recommended requirements enough for Ultra? No, recommended specs are supposed to let you play on mid-high settings in 1920x1080(Full HD''

Για τα πέρι optimisation... έχουν ακόμα 4 μήνες μέχρι να βγει το παιχνίδι. Για την CDPR μιλάμε. Απλά δες τις βελτιώσεις και το support που είχαν τα προηγούμενα παιχνίδια τους αφού κυκλοφόρησαν. Λες να μην πιεστούν;
Νομιζω οτι ειναι safe να πουμε οτι what we see, is what we get.
A user named Shavod on the official Witcher 3 forums gathered new info from a polish Q&A (made by the guys who played the game, without RED's participation) and articles from unrelated websites for the sake of clarification about certain subject matters.
ΠηγήQuote:
- there are many different types of additional weapons that you can pick up. What's interesting, you need a higher level in order to be able to use it
- weapons (including swords) will not last forever and can be destroyed if used too much. You need to regularly pay a visit to a craftsman to maintain it
- HUD is very customizable. There are several options available, including turning off minimap and all sorts of notifications if you so desire
- all graphical settings are present in in-game menu
- enemies will parry crossbow's bolts with a shields
- skill tree is really massive. There are 5 trees (according to witchersite there was 4, so I'm not sure who is closer to the truth), each has 5 tiers and each tier contains 5 skills. Every skill has 3 or 4 levels to unlock. Even though later Geralt will gain more skill points per level it's still will be impossible to unlock all of it
- after unlocking the skill it needs to be activated. You do that by putting it into separate tree, which contains a limited number of slots (it will increase with character's progress). Activated skills affects Geralt's fighting style. Activating set of skills from the same category will increase it's effects. It adds another layer to preparations and tactical planning, as you have to choose an appropriate set of active skills depending on what kind of opponent you going to face (for example, if you going to fight with heavily armored knights, you can activate Igni upgrade that allows you to melt armors)
- there are also four slots for mutagens, which also affects your abilities
- temporary companions are quite helpful and even use different fighting styles. For example, one woman that accompany them waited for a right moment while enemies were focused on Geralt to backstab them for massive damage
- game is pretty difficult, as you can die even on easy if you're not careful
- some details about dynamic weather: there will be snow, different phases of day/night, different stages of cloudiness, storms, a few types of rain and even a morning mist
- enemy AI is really good. Wolves and bandits spread to cut off all of Geralt's escape routes. If you kill their respective leaders, they end up completely disorganized. One enemy can use himself as a living bait to give the rest of his squad a chance to put Geralt in a corner If you set up a trap or Yrden sign in front of the enemy, he will avoid it
- NPC's models are very diverse and interior of every hut looks different, so there will be no feeling of deja vu
