Would Kojima stop making games?ok ο Κοτζιμα παντα μιλαει μμε γριφους, αλλα πραγματικα με ανησυχει η επιλογη των λεξεων που χρησιμοποιησε.Παντως ευχομαι οτι σχεδιαζει να ειναι οντως τοσο "ασυμβιβαστο" με την κοινη πρακτικη που ακολουθει η βιομηχανια.Και λογικο ειναι οταν παιρνεις ενα τετοιο ρισκο να ειναι δικοπο μαχαιρι.Μπορει να οδηγησει σε 2 οδους.Η μια ειναι να φερει επανασταση (οπως εκανε το MGS πισω 10 χρονια) ή το αντιθετο που το αντευχομαι!Quote:

^^ Δυσκολοι καιροι για πρωτοτυπιες, βεβαια εχει και ενα ονομα με φανατικο κοινο, ελπιζω μονο να μην του ηρθε καμια παλαβη ιδεα σαν αυτη που ηθελε το παιχνιδι να ξαναρχιζει οταν χανεις....θα δουμε.
^^ χαχα δεν ηταν ετσι...ηταν ακομα πιο παλαβη ιδεα!Καθε φορα που χανεις.... το παιχνιδι.... καπουτ!! Θα πρεπει να αγορασεις αλλο! ^^ Αυτο θα μπορουσε να λειτουργησει μια χαρα στο PSN. Οταν χανεις να σβηνεται το παιχνιδι και να μπορεις να το ξανακατεβασεις μετα απο 24 ωρες η μετα απο μια εβδομαδα η μετα απο εναν μηνα ,δωρεαν βεβαια:P

Infinity Ward is Falling Apart - Respawn Entertainment Will Rise

Most of that talk has revolved around what the two of them would be doing next and about the suing and counter-suing between the duo and Activision. On top of that, West and Zampella announced the formation of their new company, Respawn Entertainment.

With Zampella and West included, it is confirmed that Infinity Ward is now 11 employees fewer than they were just a couple months ago. Let us take a look at the full list, along with their roles at Infinity Ward:

- Steve Fukada – Lead Designer
- Zied Reike – Lead Designer
- Mackey McCandlish – Lead Designer
- Jon Shiring – Programmer

- Chris Cherubini – Lead Artist
- Todd Alderman – Lead Online Designer
- Francesco Gigliotti – Lead Software Engineer
- Bruce Ferriz – Senior Animator
As you can see, these guys were pretty much all at the top of the company. With all of these people gone, Infinity Ward is practically walking around without its head, and maybe even a missing arm. Almost all of these people have been working at Infinity Ward for 6+ years. That means that most of these people were at the company back from Call of Duty 2, and a few of them were there from the beginning with the first Call of Duty title. A lot of experience and talent has been lost at IW.
As of right now there isn’t any word as to whether any of these people will be moving to the newly created Respawn Entertainment. Considering the company only has two employees at the moment (West and Zampella) ,they are currently accepting applications and are hiring. I think it is safe to assume that we will see at least a few of these guys on the new team, though it might be a while with the lawsuits going on. Part of what Activision is accusing West and Zampella of is trying to steal the team from Activision, so that could complicate things.
On a brighter note, Respawn Entertainment has apparently signed an exclusive publishing deal with EA Partners that sounds like a match made in heaven. EA Partners has agreed to allow the studio more freedom in the development process as well as ownership of all IPs that they create, something that Activision did not allow Infinity Ward to do.
I also want to quickly point out an article that I wrote back in November where I predicted that Infinity Ward would break away from Activision. Obviously things didn’t turn out quite as I predicted. I would have never guessed that Activision would have outright fired the two studio heads.
I can only assume that Bobby Kotick is shooting himself in the head over all of this.

Crysis 2 PS3 'performs better than 360 version'

Crytek has admitted that its getting "slightly more performance" out of the PS3 version of Crysis 2 than the Xbox 360 edition.
However, the studio's business development boss Carl Jones said he was confident the game would become the best-looking title "on every platform".
The studio has previously revealed that it overcame problems squeezing the game's massive CryEngine 3 onto console.
However, it went on to claim that the game's graphics were the best you'd ever see on console - something CVG's own experience of the Xbox 360 version backed up.
Our man Ryan saw just a snippet of gameplay running on PS3, and said it looked exactly the same as the 360 version. But now it appears that over the course of the title, Sony's system might have the edge.
Jones added that Crytek had no difficulty developing for the PS3 in comparison to the 360.

"We're lucky in the fact that we've come to the generation slightly later than other people - the ones who were trying to build the first technology and games were surprised at how different the PS3 was. We took our time and worked out the right way to approach it.
"At the moment, we're getting slightly more performance from PS3 compared to 360. I'm very confident that products using CryEngine 3 are going to come out as the best looking, or at least in the top three, on every platform."

Τώρα θα γελάσουμε. Ο κύριος θέλει να μας πει ότι δεν του αρέσει ο τρόπος αφήγησης ιστορίας του uncharted. Επίσης, θα το κάνει σαν το avatar, που είναι μια ταινία που έχει τρομερά κλασσικό σενάριο, αλλά παρ' όλα αυτά έχει τρομερή αφήγηση. Επίσης, δεν βλέπει ότι το παιχνίδι θα είναι στην Νέα Υόρκη(τουλάχιστον το μεγαλύτερο μέρος γιατί η Crytek μόνο την Νέα Υόρκη ανέφερε), αλλά λέει ότι ο κόσμος θα είναι υπέροχος.
Έχει δίκιο, αλλά δεν μπορεί να προσβάλλει τους καταναλωτές. Είναι σαν να βγαίνει κάποιος μεγάλος από τη Santa Monica και να λέει σε συνέντευξη ότι είναι βλαμμένοι οι ps3 gamers γιατί θέλουν το god of war 3, που έχει όλο βία και ότι θα έπρεπε να παίζουμε σε υπολογιστές adventure.

Σιγουρα ο καθενας εχει το δικαιωμα να λεει την αποψη του αλλα....
οταν αυτη προηγειται μιας κυκλοφοριας παιχνιδιου τοτε ευκολα μπορει να καταλαβει κανεις οτι προκειται για διαφημιστικο κολπο.
Μου θυμιζει λιγο τους δικους μας stars επιπεδου μπεζεντακου, που οταν θελουν να βγαλουν νεα "δουλεια" αρχιζουν το πανηγυρι στα μεσημεριανα :P
