"SCEE has just confirmed the launch of the new MGS for this year."
According to Johnatan Fargher, from SCEE, MGS4: Guns of the Patriots will arrive to the PS3 still in 2007.
These declarations debunk some retail dates reagarding a 2008 release.
The European Sony spoaksman at the same time, denied rumors of a PS3 bad performance until now and assured that until the end of the year the PS3 will get first class titles.
Which titles are yet to be revealed.

New, mysterious character appeared in MGS4?
People with a sharp eye may have noticed something odd in the new trailer of Metal Gear Solid 4. Although everyone is falling down and some people vomit, there is one guy who is still standing. Now, who is this guy?
Some people at the dutch website www.ps3only.nl may have discovered a clue. This guy has some gray hear in his neck and just above his glasses, which is very similar to the young snake-guy who appeared at the end of the trailer shown at the last Tokyo Game Show.
At the time, everybody thought this was Old Snake, playing around with his Octo-camouflage, but in the new trailer, Snake and this mysterious gray man are both appearing, so it seems this guy isn't Snake. But then, who IS he? Maybe Kojima will reveal him tomorrow, at the live demonstration of MGS4 in Tokyo.

Eγω καταλαβα μολις το ειδα οτι ειναι ο snake,αλλα οχι αυτος του MGS3 αλλα αυτος του MGS1.
Επειδη εχει ασπρα μαλλια εγω νομιζω οτι ειναι ο Raiden :p
PDS13 εχεις πολυ επιστημονικο μυαλο ρεσυ... Θα δουμε δηλαδη τον νεουδη snake και τον γερακο snake μαζι; :p

Στο "Playstation Premiere" o kojima έδειξε κάποιο playable κομμάτι του παιχνιδιού, οπότε λογικά δεν πρέπει να αργήσει και κάποιο video.
