Using the same engine as the first hit PSP Ratchet & Clank adventure, this game focuses -- for the first time in the series -- on the adventures of the beloved robot sidekick Clank and his secret alter-ego, Secret Agent Clank. Set after Size Matters, but before the events of Tools of Destruction, the premise behind Secret Agent Clank surrounds Ratchet as he's framed for a crime that he didn't commit. Unfortunately for the hero, the trial is skewed against him, and all indications point to him being found guilty. To save his friend, Clank dons the tuxedo and equipment of his favorite alter ego, Secret Agent Clank, and investigates who's behind the accusations. Along the way, he learns and acquires new abilities, such as Clank-Fu, which he'll use against his opponents. He'll also gain access to new weapons, such as bow tie boomerangs, cuff link bombs and jet boots.


Secret Agent Clank's Valentine

February 14, 2008 - Like many of you, the IGN editors aren't used to getting valentines. If we're not huddled over a keyboard at work cranking out the latest gaming news, we're at home ignoring friends and family to play the latest titles.

It's a sad, sad existence.

That said, imagine our surprise when a big red box showed up on our doorstep on the most romantic of days. What could be inside?! Had our mothers remembered us? Had the delivery guy gotten confused? Had our prom dates from years past finally realized their mistakes in not letting us a bring a Game Boy to the big event -- huh, did you Sarah?! I mean, it was a 30-minute car ride to dinner and I really didn't need to hear Debbie's stoner boyfriend ramble on about Pink Floyd. Would me playing Wario Ware Twisted! have been that bad?! Instead, we had to fight for half an hour outside your mom's house and then spend the car ride in silence as you cried and cried.

We digress.

GDC 2008: IGN's Secret Agent Clank Hands-on


Set after Size Matters but before Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Secret Agent Clank casts you as Ratchet's metal right-hand man (you will get to play parts as Ratchet and Captain Quark) and charts a course filled with stealth moves, goofy gadgets and an adorable tuxedo.

When IGN got their hands on the game's opening level, the action began with Clank about to bust into a museum and pick off the "Eye of Infinity," a super-valuable relic. However, as Clank began to make his move, some robotic guards swooped in below him and grabbed another intruder -- Ratchet. In a news report that followed, Ratchet announced that the hero business didn't pay and was turning his back on doing the right thing. Clank didn't believe it was his pal, but an agency image scan comparing the Lombax from the break in and an awesome photo of Ratchet mid-birthday candle blow confirmed the identity.

Kαλά χθες τερμάτισα το "Μέγεθος Μετράει". Τρελό γέλιο! Αν και μικρό παιχνιδάκι, άξιζε τα 20-25 ευρώ που το πήρα (να σκεφτείς πιο ακριβά αγοράζαμε τα κασετάκια του Game boy πριν 15 χρόνια!!!). Σίγουρα θα τιμήσω και αυτό!!!
