A new model of PlayStation 3 is coming to the USA. It will feature a larger hard drive of between 120GB-160GB in size, and the pack will include the force-feedback enabled DualShock 3.
The 80GB PS3 is being phased out, major USA retail chain Best Buy have already deleted it from their inventory. It's Sony plan to have just two models available, the entry-level 40GB model, and the new high-end model.
Sony see the larger hard drive as a necessary feature for PS3 users who want to take advantage of their movie download service which launches later this year. The DualShock's belated return will also make a welcome return to Western gamers deprived of rumble in their games.
